The campground is fairly large but they have used every square foot of their property as a place to park a RV, cabin or set up a tent. The spaces are really tight and occupants have no privacy from next door or above. The terrain is very diverse and where we camped, we backed up into a hillside. RVer’s that were backed in at the top of the hill were able to look directly down into our site and able to listen to our conversation (if they were so inclined). From our site we had the ability to look down the hill into fellow campsites. The dog park was clean and tidy. We were pleased to see that previous users had cleaned up after their dogs. The grounds seems to be taken care of and the area road noise is minimal. Lastly, the roads are asphalt and very narrow with some of their trees were overgrown. We travel in a big, heavy rig so maneuvering around the grounds was a pain. Had a devil of a time avoiding scraping the side of coach, dodging the campers and their infrastructure. The staff was nice and very helpful in making sure we backed into the correct spot. If you pull a trailer and are not very comfortable back it in, definitely get a pull through. With the really close quarters, backing into these sites are not set up for a novice.

We had a sewer dump at each end of our pull thru site which was very convenient since we also have a galley dump. Spacious dog park. Nice camp store. Friendly staff who guide you to your spot. Our price was for a 50 amp FHU patio spot.

Roads feel a bit narrow and steep in places, but we were able to drive through in our 35 foot class A with no problems. Not far to drive into Hot Springs and enjoy some site seeing (about 5 miles from Bathhouse Row ????)

The usual sandwiched in spots abound atop the hill, but near the pond campers have more space to stretch out. Lots of families fishing, kids on bikes, dads playing guitar to nobody listening and moms chatting up their friends. There’s an arcade in the campground store. Weak to decent WiFi. Great Verizon service. Five minutes or less to Magic Springs (rollercoasters), and the eastern section of the national park. 15 or 20 to town, Hot Springs’ National Park’s bathhouse row and groceries, etc. With the national park and Lake Catherine State Park being so difficult to get into (the latter accepts reservations but plan ahead), this place sees a lot of traffic, and we’d only camp here if we were desperate to visit the national park. However, having already done so I’d just mention that as national parks go, this is about equivalent to the forested hill in my grandma’s backyard. Probably should be a monument or historic site.

We arrived just after the snow storm in Feb 21 and they had put sand on their hill to get into the park. The park was not full at this time of year. Washers and dryers in the office laundry were old, but they worked fine. Did not use bathrooms. Had 4 bars of 5G on AT&T. For Arkansas Crystals, go to the Rocks R Gems rock shop just down the street.

We stayed 2 nights while visiting Hot Springs NP. We have 3 kids and they loved the shirt trails and the playground. The arcade looked good, but we didn’t visit it due to Virus. The site was level and safe. No issues with hook ups. The staff was friendly, and out late check in packet was simple and direct.

We loved this park. Our spot was plenty big for our 32 ft Travel trailer, and the park atmosphere is pretty nice. Our spot was in a wonderful location - on a hill, but the spot was level. The office and store has good prices and lots of camping accessories and firewood. AT&T has 3 bars of 5GE.

Overall needs tree limbs cut back for larger RVs navigating to their site. Our 39 ft hit several limbs getting to the larger sites in the front of the campsite. Miniature golf course needs some maintenance.

They have a cook to order breakfast on the weekends that they even delivered to our rig due to the current “social distancing” requirements. We would definitely stay here again.

The KOA and the hosts were wonderful. They guided us to our site and offered to help direct us into our spot. The park is clean, the staff kind, and we especially loved the resident ducks and Buddy the camp host dog. The Wi-Fi was great. The bathhouse was clean but certainly in need of updating. On another note, the ORV Park Trails are so much fun and an absolute blast.

The site is easy to get in and out of. The site did require the Jack's to level out. Sites are clean and include picnic table and fire pit. Cable is provided at the site. The facilities include two laundrey locations. We used the location away from the office. It has 4 washers and 4 dryers. Washers cost $1.50 and dryers $0.75 for 30 minutes. We used a hour of drying.Office includes game room and nice store. The office and store is open until 5pm. Two bath house locations one at the office and the other near the entrance. There is a paid shuttle service from the office at $5 per person round trip. It drops off near the bath houses. You need to schedule return before office closes at 5pm. Call by 4:30pm. We stayed later and used Uber to get back. Uber will cost between $7.50 and $15 one way depending on class of service. We had an issue with our 50 amp plug. The 30 amp plug worked. We reported the issue in the morning and it was promptly fixed. We could have called the first night and chose to report the next morning. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Our truck did not fit in the site with our RV, but there was convenient parking close by. During the week the park wasn't full but by the weekend it got really crowded. The location is very convenient for visiting Hot Springs National Park. We did not use the campground shuttle, but we should have. It's very hard to find parking in Hot Springs. The camp hosts were so friendly and fun to talk to throughout the week. The only reason I don't give this park 5 stars is because they charge extra for kids. There are no extra amenities for kids so it doesn't make sense to charge extra for them. In Fulltime Families (FtF) we call that a "kid tax" and try to avoid parks that charge it, but sometimes it's unavoidable. Verizon worked very well there.

Hot Springs KOA is carved out of a hillside spot near town. It's close enough for easy access to Hot Springs National Park and the town of Hot Springs - they're really all one thing - but far enough out that traffic isn't bad, and noise is minimal.Management was friendly and helpful and the park was clean.
