I should have waited until the end of our stay. I said before that it is too high priced. Apparently there is no one around on the weekends.1. Someone put a university flag on the flag poles with the USA flags on the 4th of July weekend I called the office and told them it offended me and could they take it down since we were celebrating our nation. It never was removed. 2. The rules say that dogs cannot be left unattended at a campsite. A dog was tied up as the owners went swimming and gotAll twisted Around so that he was in a situation where he could not move, get water or anything. This happened all weekend. Why have a rule you are not going to follow2. Golf carts should Not be driven by kids 10 years old. They hit the concrete road block at the walking bridge and just went on. Another one almost ran over someone’s dog and another ran their cart up into the wrong camp site, almost hit their tent. 3.there were absolutely Not suppose to have fireworks in the campgrounds. Another rule. Well, they popped them all around us. We watched them. So rules are made but not enforced. What a shame for such a great RV site. 4. Lastly, I had a death in my family that was sudden, unexpected and involved a young person. We left on Monday instead of Tuesday. We asked for one nights rent back or a feee night when we came back and they would do neither. Heartless

There is a lot to do for people with kids. We love it here and will come back. This is our 2nd time to stay here. Very quiet. We drive over 400 miles to come and it is worth it. I would like to offer a few suggestions and these are meant with appreciation for the excellence you already are. 1. It is dark at night if you want to take a stroll, maybe some street lamps or solar lamps by each campsite. 2. As a senior adult on Medicare, the boats, golf carts, and other adventures are quite pricey. Maybe a senior discount??3. We are in our late 60’s. Maybe a time for only senior adults to swim. I did not feel comfortable trying to swim with all the kids but that is just me. Others may not feel that way. It would just be nice. 4. Please don’t open up for monthly renters. To me, that degrades a campsite and we don’t like to stay where most of the sites are monthly stayers. As I said, these are our suggestions only. Nothing changes about how wonderful the campsite is. We recommend to everyone! Thank you for being so great.

I have a few things that were issues for us. One being the cell phone reception I have AT&T and had terrible cell phone service. The WiFi in the park was lacking as it was super slow. We did however love the boat rental on site the laundromat being so convenient but they locked up most everything at 5 pm such as the main laundromat and the gym along with sales of ice and firewood and the like. They could probably make more money if they stayed open longer.

There was several piles of poop on the pad and in the small patch of grass. I washed it off with our water hose as best I could but of course we discovered some with our shoes. That’s more of a gripe towards pet owners that don’t pick up after their pets. The campground is nice. There is plenty of room to maneuver your rig and the pads are level. We didn’t have time to take advantage of the pool and lake. We were there for a wedding and it also rained for two of the three days we were there. We have AT&T cell service and the service in the campground is very poor. WiFi is available but wasn’t very good when we were there. We did enjoy the cable tv channels. We will stay at Catherine’s Landing again if we’re in the area. When that time comes, I hope the highways and county roads are in better condition.

A lady outside and let us know to just grab our package package from the little shed and proceed to our site. We followed the map in our package and went to waterfront site 106 with FHUs and really good water pressure. The back-in was easy. This site had a nice view and water access to Catherine Lake. Our rate reflects the two extra nights we stayed in addition to the rally package. Their WiFi was above average for a CG of this size but often with spotty connections. We also hooked up to the cable and got the 32 advertised channels. We got 1 bar on both AT&T and Verizon. There are several laundries on the property that are reasonably priced. This campground has a lot of amenities to include disc golf, zipline and kayak rentals. There are also hiking trails within this campground (CG) that we enjoyed walking our pups. There are two small fenced dogs parks, one in the upper area and other other in the lower area. The sites are nicely spaced for a private CG but still nearby. Probably the best water front sites are 101, 102, and 103. The 200 area water front sites are nice but sit farther back from the water. If you are looking for the most spacious and private sites suggest 270, 271, and especially 275. This is one of the best private campgrounds we’ve stayed in.

Check in was a little long as three people were working the desk but only one was checking in guests. We were assigned site 107 which is a back-in waterfront site. The apron from the road slopes slightly but the cement pad was level. Barely enough to accommodate our 38' TT and our GMC 2500, but it worked. Site has a picnic table, fire ring, and grill. Lovely grounds and a great view of the lake/river. Full hookups including cable worked well. Wi-fi was fast but over the 5 days we had to small outages. Worked well enough to stream 4K Netflix. Picture quality of cable and OTA channels was not good at all. Went to get ice and firewood from the store only to find they closed at 5 pm which is a little early we thought. Not too much of a problem as Hot Springs shopping is only 15 minutes away. We used Kroger, Lowe's, and Best Buy. Friendly staff all around. They pick up trash twice daily. This was more of a "work-ation" for me so did not take advantage of the amenities but there are lots of things to do if you are up to it. Noise was minimal. We had small children in the site next to us with a couple of screamers in the group but what are you gonna do. Our time there was pretty laid back. Filled up on the weekend but otherwise about 40% full during the week. We'd definitely go back. On the pricier side of the scale, but they deliver on what they promise.

I was in a rented RV that I HATED because of a lack of storage space. The weather in mid-August was miserably hot but we found water activities to keep us cool. The campground was quiet even on Friday night as the park filled with weekenders joining the fun. Everything worked at the hookups and all were well maintained. Our interactions with the staff from schedulers to mantainenance supervisor to trash gatherers were pleasant. The shower facility I used was perfectly clean with all the hot water I wanted. The pad was perfectly level for our back-in space. Plenty wide and we were on the river, as requested. When we went swimming at the lodge I was permitted to move my Class B to a pad close to the pool so my 91 year old mother didn't have to walk 3 blocks in the heat. Very accommodating of the staff.Cell service was always good but WiFi was unpredictable especially on Friday night as all the weekenders settled in.

The park is clean and well maintained in beautiful surroundings. The pad sites are concrete and easy to set up on and includes a fire pit and a grill. We opted for a lake front site and could not have been more pleased with the shaded view we had from our location. There are many things to do on location including pool access, zip line, disk golf, marina access for you own boat or rentals (boats, kayak, canoe), walking trails, golf cart rentals, etc. The facilities include a number of restroom / laundry facilities in the park which again are clean and conveniently located. The drive to downtown Hot Springs is about 6 miles and the drive to Garvin Gardens is also 6 miles in a different direction. We had one small issue upon arrival where another camper, who arrived before us, evidently decided they liked our location better than their lake front location and set up their entire 5th Wheel in ours! We assumed that for some reason this was the previous resident who had not left yet. A quick trip to the office was necessary where the staff determined the issue and they asked these residents to relocate to their correct spot. The issue was handled with care and the only inconvenience as it caused was for us to have to wait about 45 minutes for them to pack up, hook up and move. Lucky we did not have a late arrival as we would not have know what to do with someone in our spot!We would recommend Catherine's Landing to anyone looking for a beautiful, clean location. It's a hidden gem in looking to be found.

Firewood delivered to your site and twice daily trash pick-up. Nice stocked pond with patio and enjoyed riding bikes around the property as a family at dusk. We were also pleasantly surprised to find Instacart and pizza delivery available. Most appreciated the spacious sites. We had a waterfront site during both weeks, but are looking forward to trying the wooded sites on our next stay. Nice store with beer, soda, ice cream and snacks. Our only complaint is the WiFi....it needs improvement.

Catherine's Landing has both if you're willing to pay more for a great location close to Hot Springs National Park (about ten miles away.) Value:Even with a Good Sam discount, the cost was $45/night so this is a more expensive park. The park quality is excellent though with large, level sites with full hook-ups and well-kept grass and trees throughout the park. We got there the day after heavy rain and most of the sites were dry. We had site #68 and although it's not on the water, we had a view of the lake since the park was pretty empty when we stayed there. To get the most value for your $, take advantage of the amenities. There are two off-leash dog runs, two laundromats, a pool, and a large, new clubhouse with sitting area and small workout room (that has a couple good quality machines and 24 hour access.) We also saw signs for disc golf and a zip line so there look to be many options for activities.Dog-Friendliness:The park is very dog-friendly: the dog runs were kept up and the size of the park and limited traffic during the week gave a couple options for walking our pup. Many campers had pups with them.Runner's and Biker's Rave:Your safest bet is the mile or so of interior park roads before you get to the main road. The main road itself is very curvy and doesn't have a shoulder or sidewalk so you'll need to be careful where you run or bike. WHJ Insider Tip:The park offers a couple different rates (depending on how certain you are of your dates) and has a large number of sites. Ask about different rates and if you don't want to pay extra to be right on the lake, see if you can get a site across from the lake spots for a nice view.Overall, we'd recommend Catherine's Landing if you're willing to pay a bit more for a beautiful park with all the amenities!

RV sites are concrete pads and are average size with little privacy. But the views of the river and the surrounding woods are serene. We were on a full hook up site with cable TV. The Wifi was adequate - although a bit slow at times. Check in was easy. The office was located next to a pool and play ground area. There were cabins, yurts, and tent camping areas as well. They are expanding the campground and building a Zip Line course, so we had some construction noise during the week days. There is a frisbee golf course and a few short hiking trails. Kayaks and pontoon boats were also for rent. The bathhouses all looked new and there was a laundry facility as well. There is a small dog park, it had rained quite a bit and it was muddy so we didn't use it.It was crowded - due to Spring Break - but I think this will continue to be a popular site so reserve ahead of time!

This is one of the nicest campsites we’ve stayed at. About 15 min from downtown Hot Springs and the National Park. Seems kinda new, but all the facilities are to notch. Clean and modern bath house. Kid friendly.

The pool is large and heated, the landscaping is wonderful. There are several long walking trails through the woods and a disc golf course. There is a lake/river where you can rent boats, canoes, and kayaks. Free popcorn. And there is a zip line that is very impressive. It is very quiet here, people are respectful, yet it is convenient to downtown Hot Springs. We plan to visit it again in the future; it's worth going out of your way to see this wonderful RV resort.

Very clean and large park. Level paved sites. Lots of amenities and the town has lots to do. They rent pontoons, kayaks, golf carts. Zip line, swimming and fishing. We were in the site that the lady checking us in said was the best site in the park. I agree, patio side was a great view of the lake.

Because we plan the rally far ahead of time, we generally end up with all the waterfront sites and a chunk of the next group back from the water, so the price per night is a bit high for camping. However, the place is extremely well-maintained, there are nice bath facilities for people who have cramped or otherwise inconvenient bathing options in the RV, the pool is nice and there's a huge outdoor pavilion where we have our pot-luck dinners for the rally. They have canoes and kayaks and pontoon boats for rent for enjoying the lake if the waterfront RV site isn't enough to satisfy. Like so many campgrounds, it's a bit of a trek to get to but it's a very nice place to stay.

There is also a disc golf course and zip lining. The park is on Lake Catherine. You can rent boats, kayaks and paddle boards for use on the lake. It was miserably hot this time of year and the pool was like bathwater, but the lake water is really cold and refreshing. At night, fog rises up off the lake creating a spooky scene. :)Sites are all concrete and include picnic tables, grills and firepits. There's plenty of space between RV sites. The lake front sites are all back-in. Our site was fairly close to the office. We found the wifi to be acceptable on most weekdays. Not so much on the weekends when the park was full. Location is convenient to the Hot Springs National Park area attractions and is about an hour from Little Rock. Be sure to access from 70 to Carpenter Dam to Shady Grove. The alternate route has quite a few low hanging branches!

This place is very clean, quiet and relaxing. We spent a week there and went to the nearby Hot Springs National Park. The salt water pool was awesome! Verizon service was great but there internet was only decentish.

Showers and bathrooms were very clean. Our site was very close to the bathrooms, which was nice. During the summer, they rent pontoon boats and kayaks. We did a little bit of fishing from the shore of the lake. Its mostly trout fishing, so bring your fly gear. With cabins and yurts on site, we will try to return with more family members.
