This place is just beautifully kept. Staff is friendly and helpful. Small and everyone was so welcoming. Laundry facilities were very nice. Pool was wonderful and heated. There is a lot of gravel but still had a nice dog park area. Beautiful water views. We are already booked to come back. Luv it and hated to leave.

We stayed in 2 sites: 1) 9 was on the water (180 dollars with GoodSam) front and 24b(160 with GoodSam) is right by the highway 100 yards separating them. The sun set over land but beautiful colors for the most part. 15 min drive to Marathon and the airport with all the amenities. BUGS! Got eaten up! BUT apparently the No See flys will either love you or will not wanna touch you if the long term residents are to be believed and I didn’t use any bug spray FYI. We stayed in Marathon for 3 days at another park before arriving here and didn’t receive one bite til we got here, my wife got one or two bites so take the review as one person’s experience. Full bars VZ and the park WIFI was adequate. And as they say:”nothing is free in the Keys!”

The price reflects a weekly rate for a Premium site (17). We did move to a pull through after two weeks and the rate dropped to around $79 a night. Everything in The Keys is expensive and we felt this price was reasonable and fair. The park itself is small (a bonus) and all the work campers were extremely friendly as was Wendy, the owner. There is a beach (no swimming) and small marina area where you can enjoy the sunrises and sunsets. From the marina we launched our paddle boards and worked our way over to the Dolphin Research Center. You can hear the dolphins and occasionally see one splashing around. Within walking distance there is the SS Shipwreck restaurant and bar. The food is good and the beer is cold. There are many restaurants, grocery stores, a Home Depot, etc. within 10-15 minutes of the park. The sites are FHU with 50 amp service. There is cable, but the quality isn’t great. However, cell service (ATT/Verizon) was excellent and we were able to stream movies and TV. The sites are all level and gravel. The entire park is gravel with no grass yards. The waterfront sites have a packed sand yard and lounge chairs at each site. There are two grass areas for pets (neither are fenced, which is really the only improvement that I would recommend). There is a laundry facility, a rec room, a pool and a horseshoe/ladder ball/corn hole area. The Dolphin Research Center is basically next door and the Keys Aquarium Encounter is about a 10 minute drive. There is road noise from highway 1, but that is going the the situation with most locations in the keys. We loved it here and would absolutely stay here again.

We were right on a basin that leads to the Gulf, so the view with my coffee every morning was beautiful. The staff was great; the park is very clean. And there were several iguanas (I think they were iguanas) that entertained us most afternoons. The Barracuda Grill and Stoudts are great places to eat in Marathon, and Mrs. Mac's Kitchen in Key Largo is no slouch. Keys Fisheries has excellent stone crab claws in season, and the attached seafood market features fish right off the boat. All in all, although we spent much more than anticipated, the resort was great. We will stop there again.

The owner who was taking my reservation said they had site A available for the four nights we needed. She told me it was a peninsula-style site with water on all three sides. When we arrived, the owner directed me to a peninsula where I probably backed for 100 yards. It was absolutely amazing. The site came with its own sandy beach and two brand new lounge chairs. The other waterfront spots are considerably cheaper but still very nice. They are specific about what rigs are allowed. We used the laundry and the pool and they were both super clean. Also, be sure to eat at the Keys Fisheries in Marathon, FL, about 10 minutes down the road. The yellow tail sandwich was awesome.
