Just pay attention to the speed rules, and you'll never have had a problem with her. New owner took over 2 years ago, and everything changed. In spite of what they say, this no longer is a pet friendly RV Park. Most large breeds not allowed. No fencing, x-pens, or tie outs allowed. Dogs not allowed in campers unattended, It's not an easy place to live seasonally with all the new rules and regulations put into place. We were forced to vacate the site we occupied since 2003 because the new owner would not allow us to keep the fencing that had been in place since we first occupied the site. This in spite of the fact that we specifically asked the question when he first took over. "Yes, no problem. Your fencing is grandfathered" Well, that promise didn't last long. If you own dogs, consider renting a site elsewhere.

We are very happy here and just made a reservation to return for a month in the fall. There is a significant savings by staying for a month. Monthly rate is $575 vs. about $43/day for daily rate. That's full hook up, 50A service. I have to include that the park is under new ownership and the previous reviewer's experience with Marge is not reflective of the personnel we met at the park. Mary in the office, is kind, gracious and helpful. Kelly, the Jill-of-all-trades, who's always busy with some upgrade or upkeep project also could not be nicer! They are wonderful examples of hospitality! We enjoyed riding our bikes and walking the loop through the campground. The park is in two sections; an open area close to the office where short term guests stay, and a wooded area where the seasonal sites are located. It's all well maintained and very comfortable. The campground is 10 min to Saratoga Springs, and 20 min to Glens Falls/Queensbury, which is ideal for us because we have family in both places. What is also exceptional about this park is that they stay open year round. This is a huge asset, as most campgrounds close in this area around Columbus Day weekend. This also means a place to stay in the spring before other places are open. As snowbirds living in NY for 6 months, this is a great option to bookend our travels. Don't let old outdated reviews keep you from experiencing this wonderful RV Park. It's a great place!

The office staff was nice and helpful, we did not use the pool although it looked nice nor the laundry. I was little surprised that they closed the office at 6:30 so I had to go off property to get ice. We chose the free WiFi and it was fine for checking email and listening to my Sirius app. The cell signal was not great but not horrible either. It’s about 15-20 minutes from downtown Saratoga Springs. We’d stay here again

The rate shown above is the amount per day at the monthly rate. While the grounds are lovely, they are not well kept. Litter is not picked up - I documented some litter that was left for a month in the middle of the road. (I normally pick up litter as I walk, but there are no trash cans in this park other than the big dumpsters near the office, in which to put it.) Our neighbors were fun, entertaining and inclusive. Everyone in our "loops" had permanent spots they come to in the summer - many for weekends only. Most had been coming for years.Madge, the manager, was a different story. I could never tell whether today's Madge would be smiling and helpful, or on a rampage. I have a photo of a trashy mattress she left propped against the door of my rig, a couple of days after I asked her how to dispose of an old mattress (big signs saying what not to put in the dumpsters include mattresses, among many other things.) She was helpful in giving me directions to the nearest dump, but then she assumed I was the person who left a mattress standing near the dumpsters a couple of days later, and left it blocking the door to my RV. Adversarial doesn't begin to describe her attitude. On three separate occasions she raised her voice to me for minor infractions of her rules. Rude and uncalled for. I was there three months and asked for the monthly rate for a final 10 days, only to be denied and charged full price. Saratoga RV Park was the worst camping experience in two years of full-time RVing. We were near the front, so there was some noise from the main road going beside the park - mostly only hotrodders or sirens were noticable.
