Showers are individual small bathrooms with sink, toilet and shower and were spotlessly clean. The grounds are decorated with metal sculptures of animals, cowboys and a stagecoach. Propane is reasonably priced. Sites are gravel and red sand and were a bit messy when we arrived due to an overnight 4” of snow which quickly melted. There is some freeway noise but not worse than the wind in the trees at Grand Canyon.

There are 3 fenced in dog parks. Those are also clean. This is a great value for the money! It is next to l 40, so there is a little road noise.

They are located on top of the mesa a few miles west of town off I-40 and it can get windy (a Loves is just down the street). Typical of this area, there is not much in the way of trees and shrubs, but they have several large metal sculptures that are really top quality. We were only here for a cold weekend in December 2021, and the 50 amp connection never had a problem running our electric heater and the WiFi was very good. There is plenty to do and see in Albuquerque, including some great food and brews. We will definitely stay here again.

Paved sites, red dirt between each. Not wide, but pretty long. Right off I-40 with a Loves next door. Nice rec hall. Clean, well maintained. Cheap nightly rate and friendly staff.

Very clean bathrooms and showers. 30amp plug fell out of the post socket. Water pressure isn’t great but very accessible. WiFi is pointless. If you’re able to connect at all it doesn’t stay connected long. We just used our hotspot. Very friendly staff. You get used to the highway noise.

I got busy hooking things up and had to fiddle with the 30 Amp service plug on the post to get my electric going, as I needed A/C,,,,,. Went to Costco to resupply, and left the A/C running as I didnt have a warm and fuzzy about that 30 Amp receptacle. When I got back everything was functioning normally but after about another hr,,,the power shut down.I fiddled with my 30 Amp plug on the post, reset coach and pole breakers several times but stillgot a red light on my tester plug. Since it was dark, I didn't need the 30 Amp anyway and switched to the 20 Amp with my dogbone. it saved the day,,,(or night rather) and had a great nights sleep and got underway westbound the next day around 11:30. Check out was 12 noon.Campground very quiet, alot of full timers around the perimeter, but I enjoyed it and will be back when I pass through ABQ again! despite the crappy 30 Amp service on my site....

Easy to get to off of I-40. Park is layer out really well with paved streets and level gravel pads. There is a little noise but not when we were in our RV. Good satelite reception with clear southern sky.

Their prices are higher during the Fiesta but they only jump up about $20 a night where other parks jump up by $50+. With our Good Sam we ended up a little below $50 a night. Our site was across from the office and less than a few hundred yards from I-40. That makes for some loud nights trying to sleep. The park itself is well maintained and the facilities are very clean. The free WiFi is kind of a joke as it constantly cuts in and out and we could barely check email with it. We ended up using our phones as hotspots to get anything done.

There's many long term RVers, but thankfully they don't allow old RVs in the park, so the park doesn't look trashy. Actually our TT was one of the oldest in the park. :))) The park is situated close to the edge of the west mesa and it can get very windy over there, so be careful about your awnings. The monthly rate is $375 + we payed around $120 per month for electricity.

I have to use earplugs to keep out the truck noise on Interstate 40 at night, it is crazy loud till 1AM or so. The sites are tightly spaced, so that the picnic table for my site is right next to the hose, sewer, and power for my neighbor. And despite this park advertising it has a propane service, the woman at the front desk refused to fill my certified fiberglass tanks (Viking brand) saying her propane supplier does not permit it. This is the first time in 11 months I have ever heard that excuse! I offered to show her my tank certifications but she didn't want to discuss the matter further. When I checked in on Monday, the guy at the front desk said they were fine to fill. So how does that happen that two front desk people give different answers? I'll be filling my tanks elsewhere and not staying here again.

Really, we had no objections to High Desert RV Park, other than it didn't have much personality. It's basically just a parking lot with a few xeriscaped areas. It was clean, the sites were a normal amount of space apart, and there were nice places to let the dog roam. The office staff were professional and very understanding when we had to stay some extra time due to a landing gear repair. Propane on-site is convenient, and it's super easy to hop on I-40 and get into town. Our issue was that the site was the most unlevel we have ever experienced. The front end was significantly higher than the back, and our landing gear just couldn't compensate, even when we used leveling blocks. The 30amp sites on the perimeter looked more level, but for the 50amp pull-throughs in the middle, good luck!
