Most importantly, it's a family owned business that caters to travelers like us! Between a slide issue and, then, the crazy winds, they were able to move things around so we could stay in the same spot for an extra week. They said, 'we just want you to be safe and comfortable!' This was our 2nd stay with Enchanted Trails and we will return. Great rates. Laundry. Gift shop. Propane available as well as windshield repair. The food truck on Tuesday and Thursdays was another plus!

The site we were in had a fair amount of road noise from I-40 (nothing that kept us awake but noticeable especially in the mornings) and the A sites were pretty close together the way they are set up (like buddy sites). With our slides out we were almost touching the RV in A5. Overall the park is spacious though. The vintage RV's and vehicles are a nice touch as well as a lot of the decor in the community spaces. The laundry room was clean, $1.75/wash and $.25/15 min drying time. 4 washers (1 not in service) and 6 dryers and the front desk will provide change if you need it. We did not use the restrooms. We would definitely stay here again.

There are a few extended stay residents but this did not hamper our stay.

We spent our thanksgiving at this park so we didn’t have to be on the road. We came in the day beforehand, we got in after hours but they had a map ready for us at the front so we could just pick it up and park. The space was decently wide. It was quiet the entire time we were there.

My wife and I were outside Carlsbad at Chosa Campground, and we couldn't get an ATT signal at all for work, so we had to leave in the middle of the week to go to our next destination. I called this campground specifically and asked about connectivity, since they were a 5 hour drive after work at 3 pm. The lady I spoke with stated the wifi in the park can be spotty, but that the wifi at the office was reliable. The first day or two we had phone signal in the park, but then we had about 4 days in a row with NO signal at all in the park, the wifi in the park was bad, and the wifi at the office was even worse. So we drove 5 hours from a free boondocking spot and paid an extra $240 for WORSE signal. We had to drive into Albuquerque at 5 am every day in order to work. They have their electrical pedestals right next to their water hookups, and the hookups have a bunch of tape around them like they may spew water everywhere. We had a small leak in our city water connection that the park called and said the maintenance guy could fix. He came out and tightened a few things, then he removed our water pressure regulator without permission and said, "We regulate the water pressure here so you don't need this". This definitely seemed like a red flag, as in the event of our pipes bursting because he was wrong, he won't have to pay for any of the potential damage our RV would take. Overall, this was a disappointing park, and there are many others in the area. Albuquerque is a beautiful city! Some of the people in their office were nice enough, but it definitely does not seem worth the price they charged. If you are looking for a positive, they do have very clean showers and STRONG water pressure as well (another reason I didn't feel comfortable about taking the water pressure regulator off).

It included our site number a nice campground map and a drawn directions on how to get to our site. We were happy to get a site right next to the bathrooms. We were coming from the north and it’s winter time so our RV was still winterized. The bathrooms were very clean and toasty warm and hot showers. Our site was very nice with a tree, brick patio and picnic table. It was a little tight for us with our 26 foot travel trailer, but we managed to get in. We were in site B2. We were up early the next morning. Before heading out for the day we walked the grounds. Everything was clean and we enjoyed looking at the vintage trailers and other quirky displays. Although, we were never able to go into the trading post because we were not there during the open hours we walked through the building where the laundry room was and the clubhouse was. It was all very cute. Our only complaint is There is a large dog on the corner of the building that came at us barking and was sort of aggressive. It scared us. We travel with two kids and a small dog.

I like the vintage feel, I like the idea of it, but I’ve been fighting to hang on the internet while here. And I have several more days to go before I check out. I work from my RV and must have good WiFi at least from 8-5. And yes, I have a jet pack and a booster and even those are just so-so here. I’m going to try to reposition the booster again today and see if that helps. Struggling with both my Mifi AND the park’s RV makes me a bit anxious about keeping up with work. Also, the restroom is clean if you get it early in the day. I think they clean it first thing in the morning. By nighttime it seems inconsiderate guests have strewn around pieces of paper towels and not flushed toilets. (One toilet seems to always back up too.) How hard is it to pick up after ones self? In terms of arrival I got here a little before 4pm, just before they closed, and I was met at the door with a map and a receipt for my stay. I understand covid and all, but there wasn’t even an opportunity to talk to anyone, ask questions, etc. the gentleman who met me at the door wouldn’t let me into the building. Yes, had mask on, stood proper distance away. I liked their little shop from the pics online, but not feeling welcome to go in. I do like my spot- the location, the pull-thru setup, the level ground. I don’t mind the sound from the highway at all. Sleeping very well here. The grounds are well kept and pretty. There’s even a Propane place on site. Anyway, verdict not out on whether i can make this work, for work, or if I need to go somewhere else.

All sites are FHU as far as I know and we had non issues with utilities. It's a fairly large campground right off of Route 66. The office was a trading post at one time. The laundry was nice, we washed some clothes while there. We used the pool and it was nice and clean, but the water was pretty chilly during our stays. We did not use the bath house, so can't comment on it. We drove into Albuquerque to visit Old Town and do some shopping. The lady in the office told us a good local place to eat New Mexican food in town (Garcia's). Interesting drive down Old Route 66 in Albuquerque, lots of vintage places to see. Go visit the Petroglyphs National Monument, just a few miles from the campground as well. For the price, you can't beat it.

Our rate was for a “weekly PA” rate and got a Good Sam in the remaining days. We had a very unfortunate stay. Check in was easy and the staff very nice. They have a parts and camping shop with propane right next door. Randy is the guy that is always there and he is an absolute gem. If you stay, please go and support his business vs the Camping World next door. Our site was at the end of the park. Everything is dirt and gravel and a little dusty. We were sent to the back of the park where all the part and full time residents reside. It was fairly quiet. A little road noise but no too bad. WIFI is horrible. Even with a booster. It is ok to send email and such, but if you work from a computer this place isn’t for you. I didn’t check out the bathrooms do no comment there. There are some cute vintage cars and trailers there that are fun to look at. There is also a cute store inside with a few recreation rooms but everything smelled like stale cigarettes except the day housekeeping cleaned. The laundry facilities are great. $1.75 wash and 25 cents every 15 minutes for the dryer. They also worked very well. Now the bad news. Our bikes were stolen from our site. They were locked to the back of our motorhome with a heavy duty lock and they cut it and took them while we were gone. Obviously somebody knew we weren’t there. I reported it to the lady up front. She said she would have the cameras checked but usually what they get is someone flipping them off. So I asked her if they do that does it happen a lot? They know where your cameras are!? She stated it didn’t happen a lot but it happens. I told the campers next door as they have nice bikes. They said last time they were there, their cooler was stolen out of their truck. I also read on one of these RV sites a woman’s generator was stolen. Albuquerque has a high crime rate! Do yourself a favor and stay at a GATED Rv park while here.

Very close to I-40, if road noise bothers you request a site toward the rear of the park. Every single staff member has been willing to help us poor newbies out with tips and knowledge share. The on-site propane/RV repair shop, run by Randy, was a godsend as we had several things go wrong that needed to be fixed. If he didn’t have the part, he got it for us, usually within 24 hours. Laundry was never too busy, showers and baths were good. Didn’t get to try the pool, with it being February and all. The community was a mixture of travelers and long time residents, and everyone was friendly. Lots of dogs around, two designated dog areas on the East and West sides of the park. They also can provide short term storage for your unit, which we will be taking advantage of later this year when we return to visit. Will definitely stay here again.

Its proximity is also its downfall with traffic noise from the highway and airplane noise from the Sunport. The staff was friendly, and the check-in was smooth. Level sites offered picnic tables and fire rings, there was a store, laundry, and propane available on site. Our neighbor, a permanent resident, kept the local pigeons well-fed, and the local feral cats kept the pigeon population in check. The outdoor pool (unheated) and hot tub were nice. The little display of vintage cars and RVs was cute, and the indoor vintage decor is fun. There were several OATV channels available. Petroglyph Nat'l Monument was an easy 9-mile drive north and is a nice place for a hike to see the ancestral rock art.

There are numerous WiFi towers throughout the facility and while it's not the fastest internet in the world it does the job, and best of all it's free. The park is clean and while it may look like there's a lot of guests here, turns out a large chunk of the RVs are just parked for storage. So even with the close proximity to the freeway it's actually pretty quiet here. The freeway noise is more of a low hum. 10 min away from Albuquerque. They honor Good Sam.

The location is perfect. It's right next door to Camping World and only a few minutes from Albuquerque. The only negative I found was a lack of a good place to take dogs. There isn't any grass and you just have to take them into some gravel/desert areas.

The morning of the theft a white truck with an older white male driving it was driving around the park and slowed down checking out the back of our rig. I feel this person lives in the park but didn't get a good enough look at the driver to ID the person. I left the park for about an hour to do some grocery shopping. While I was gone someone cut the tie downs on the back of our rig and stole our generator. Someone in the park knew that I'd le00ft and I lost a generator. The park has a video camera covering the entrance and told me a dark blue or black Chevy or GMC without a license plate entered the park and left 7 minutes later. I'm guessing they they were called by someone in the park and had my generator in the back.

A quick drive to grocery stores and gas stations, on historic Route 66, and close enough to the highway to quickly get back on the road to your next destination. We did not hear any road traffic from our site, and actually really enjoyed the location for its scenery. The sites have full hook ups, fairly level gravel, and a decent amount of trees to provide partial shade throughout the day. Each site had a picnic table, and there was a decent amount of space between our neighbors. Enchanted Trails has on site laundry, a rec room, gift shop, dump station, propane fill, and next door to Camping World if you needed to quickly walk over and grab a part. We utilized the pool and hot tub almost daily. It was very clean and well kept. Right next to a small grassy area where we would take our dog for walks. The only complaint I have about this place is the community bathrooms. Yes they are dated, which I can totally live with. However, it was pretty evident to me they aren’t cleaned as frequent as they should be. The boxes for used women’s hygiene products was full to the max in each stall, and hadn’t been emptied at all while we were there. Our stay was for 2 weeks...I would recommend using your own if you can! Other than that, the staff was nice and helpful! They were super accommodating to us, and we would definitely stay here again! The vintage RVs were also very cool!

The parking setup is a bit weird with each rig turned opposite of the rig next to it. Overall it's not too bad, but sharing an electrical box with our neighbor meant that three times our breaker was turned off by someone coming in or leaving the spot next to us (one time at 5 am where they turned off our breaker and left). We also had our water hose disconnected once as well. But ABQ and everything that it offers is just a few minutes down the highway. Highway noise can be an issue, and the gravel parking lot tends to be a bit dusty (as is the desert outside the park when the wind picks up).

This park has some amenity perks like the laundry and pool (which was closed due to the season). The staff was also nice and helpful with places to go during our stay. They have a little shop inside but it's really just souvenirs. The gravel was soooo dusty. They have someone on a tractor riding around leveling out the gravel for hours, nearly everyday. He must have gotten paid by the hour because this man was passing right by our site like 10 times kicking up dust. It's level dude, chill.Camping World is right next door and happened to be our "backyard" for our stay so I'd recommend trying to request a spot further towards the back or on the side, away from Camping World. Sites are so wide we were able to park our truck right next to our rig. The sewer hook up at our site was far away from the water and electric. The site next to us had a very sketchy looking sewer hook up. It had an electric outlet right by it and was all taped off. It looked very unsafe. Also, every person with a tall rig that parked in that spot had issues with the tree planted way too close to the spot. Our electric outlet was shared with the people right next to us, which happened to get shut off twice during our stay, turning our computers off at the wrong time. They do have WiFi here but it was such a pain. It was incredibly slow and would shut down out of nowhere. They have 3 different networks, all of which sucked. Do not rely on it.The upside is, they have propane and a really nice, helpful guy who works there that also does RV repairs. It is so close to Albuquerque we would probably stay here again but we didn't have the best stay honestly. ALSO! Getting here from the west, Google maps has you go down this longgggg road uphill when there is a much more convenient exit a little further east by the Love's gas station.

It is a gravel lot. With trees. Well, some trees. That’s it. Oh, it has “great freeway access”. Yes, it is right alongside I-40, so it is really noisy. All hours of the day.I was only a handful of feet away from the monster Class A that was my neighbor. I could have jumped from their roof to mine. I mean I like people and all, but I also like my privacy. You don’t get it here. Not sure why people stay at places like this. I did cause my best friend lives in the ABQ and there isn’t any public campground in the vicinity (well, there actually is one, but it is further out). And I stayed at a different commercial park before and thought I would try something new.Yeah, so, what is good to say about this place? It has the cute vintage trailers that others have noted. And the “trading post” has a bunch of vintage furnishing. And there is laundry (yes, I know most, if not all, commercial RV parks have this, but I am stretching). And there is Wi-Fi, except it is typical of commercial RV parks. It doesn’t work.Oh, it is also right next to Camping World, and there is a gate in the fence (open during business hours) so you have easy access.

The lady checking us in was saying one way and I had to ask a question to clarify because it was not straight forward and didn't sound right to me. She told me it was the best way and started just giving attitude about it. I had asked the percentage is off the weekly with a confused look, nothing horrible. I said, I'm sure it's right and figured I could look later because there was someone else waiting to check in, but after running our card, she put it in all again to show us that she was right. She then realized she forgot to charge us the 50 amp surcharge on 3 days and ran our card again. And she still didn't actually configure it correctly for the best discounts, so we were overcharged. I really just didn't want to go back and fight with her later. The other people in the office were nice later in the week, but of course, on the last day I went in to check on a package and she threw more attitude my way leaving me with a bad taste in my mouth. As far as the park goes, the Route 66 gift shop and theme is cute with the vintage decor in the laundry and lounge areas and the trailers available for rent up front. The rest of the park is a basic gravel lot where RVs are parked facing each other sharing what is typically one patio space. We had nice neighbors, but unless I'm camping with someone or there is a good amount of space between the sites, I find this awkward. There is no dog park and somehow this gravel hurts your feet more than any other we've walked. My dogs hated it and would refuse to walk, so we ended up on the outskirts and walking them next door at Camping World a lot.

There are also some gardened areas for sitting outside. Propane is on site, and Camping World is next door, if you need their services. The weird part is the way the sites face each other, buddy style. If you arrive with a friend, this can be great, because your front doors can face each other and you can picnic your heart out. If you have no idea who your neighbor is (and you're the introverted type like me), it can be a little awkward when there's always someone lounging in their chair outside your door.Otherwise, though, we really liked this place and would definitely stay again when in the Albuquerque area.

Our row had rigs park with their living areas facing each other, we actually shared one picnic table, but spacing was not bad. We had full hook-up 50 amp, and found the park perfectly acceptable at the weekly rate offered, as well as compared to other campgrounds in the area. Facilities include a clubhouse with a TV and a pool table, a large room filled with tables and chairs, and a couple of large barbecues just outside. There is a pool, but it was closed during our stay in late October/early November. Laundry room is adequate with older washers and dryers but they work fine. Extra points for adorable vintage travel trailers throughout the property (photos to follow soon), a couple of Hudsons (antique cars) and other kitschy items - antique chairs, TVs and radios in the clubhouse, old timey washer and dryer in the laundry room and signs on a building in the back. The park is immediately next door to a Camping World and a propane filling service is located on the property. There are only two small grassy areas right by the office, and a little dirt around the edges by the fence - so pets have to walk mostly on gravel. There is Wi-Fi access, but we found it to be too slow.
