Many kids running around and golf carts everywhere. There isn’t much privacy. Sites fairly close together. Full hookups including cable. Wifi was not consistent. Check in/out always easy. It’s hard to get a site during peak season. We always book a year ahead. Lots of Amenities: Coffee bar, pool, jacuzzi, pool bar, Camp Store/Cafe with outside seating, pool, laundry, fitness center, Tiki Bar, Golf Cart rental, etc.

Lovely campsite. Too early in the season for any of the amenities to be open but lots of options nearby including Ocean City.

  • Beachside resort with a lot of amenities.

The people in the registration office were very nice and helpful. The park is fairly large and easy to maneuver around in our 26.5' rig. We were located in the Island Oasis part of the park near the beach and tiki bar. The site was plenty big for us and level. Be aware that the closer the site is to the tiki bar, the louder the music will be, however, when we were there, the music was done before 10:30pm and quiet time is 11:00pm. We enjoyed the tiki bar, with it's dj, fruity rum drinks and seating out under the stars on the sand. There is a cafe, store, and pool. We didn't eat at the cafe or use the pool. The bathouse was clean and spacious.

The staff was very friendly and it seems to be a very well run campground. They have RV, tent and cabin rentals. We were there for a free Bluegrass Music festival put on by the RV Park. We stayed in the Castaways Club area of the RV park - fondly described by the staff as the "luxury" area. This area is waterfront to the bay between mainland and Assateague Island. The area has its own private bay front pool along with fishing piers and decks on which to enjoy the view. Campsites were more spacious in the Club area with separate asphalt parking pads for the RV and TV. Our site was on the end of a row with awning facing inland was private but unless you book the end sites (direct waterfront or row end) there wasn't much privacy. Full hookups including cable. Wifi was ok for email and browsing but could not stream to our Smart TV. The standard campsites outside of the club section were closer together and had 1 gravel pad with full hookups.Arrival was painless and the staff friendly and efficient. But I can imagine in peak season there being a wait to get parked. Lots of Amenities - Coffee bar, Camp Store/Cafe with outside seating, pool, Laundry, Gym, Tiki Bar, Golf Cart rental, etc. Cafe food was typical fare at reasonable prices and they will deliver to your campsite. We did not use the bathhouses but they looked good from the outside.
