The lake is nice too, but it’s a pretty wonky RV park. All the full hookup sites basically back up to one another, which was awkward with absolutely no privacy. The back of our 40’ rig was probably 10’ from the back of the class C right behind us with absolutely no separation. Our power pole was joined with the site next to us and literally in their camp site. Same deal with our water hookup that was one spicket with a T Connector on it. We we worried about water pressure, but fortunately the folks right next to us were never in camp so it was a non-issue. This place is a decent home base for using the park, but way overpriced in my opinion. Got charged an extra $20 a night because of our 2 kids and a dog?? Verizon cell coverage was horrible. Aside from enjoying having 50 amp service, this place made us miss the dry camping we were doing our at Lid Creek Campground for the 3 previous nights, which was super quiet and peaceful with tons of privacy (and ironically with better cell service despite being a bit off grid).

Sites are primarily dirt And wooded and can require creative rig leveling. WiFi exists while sitting on the rock or picnic table right outside of the office otherwise forget it. Good family spot with kids playing and swimming. Price is high and additional $10 per day per charge makes no sense since there is nothing specifically provided for them for the money. Phone service not strong enough to allow internet access.

Grabbed a lake front site which was electric/water only. Great views and plenty of room to swing into spots. The other full hookup spots looked a bit tight as did the road going back there. Proprietor was really nice and overall, a very well kept facility. Don't turn left onto Belton Stage road like I did (it's a washboard dirt road). Drive up a bit farther until you see the sign for Lake 5 Resort.
