I was surprised at how nice this place was. Definitely not private, but spots are fairly spread out. Sites are on the grass and only have electric. Place was only half full on a Friday night. Free showers and laundry can't be beat!

Come in off of Shunk Rd.I gave it a 5 for what it is compared to similar and it’s availability mid tourist season. The only thing that would improve it would be a lake view and level concrete pads. This was not available anywhere nearby at the time.An actual little RV campground with fairly level grass sites, picnic table and electricity (30/50). Sites are easily accessible and large enough for most rigs. No trees or shrubbery between sites for privacy if that matters to you. There were numerous sites available midday on a Wednesday but it gets almost (not quite) full on Friday. Pick a site, set up camp and check in at the hotel lobby on the far side of the casino. It is now $25/night. Make sure you ask about use of the pool when you check in. You get a keycard for the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and workout room with your registration. The dump and fill station is not in the campground! It is in the parking lot to the east of the campground entrance. Here are the coordinates 46.4734348, -84.3225306. Beware of the major potholes between dump station and RV Park entrance! I saw several people accessing a hose on the east side of the restrooms in the campground also.WiFi is available in the casino but our cell signal was so good on both Verizon and AT&T that we didn’t use it. Large clean restroom with showers. As another reviewer said, it’s aged but clean and well maintained. We were camped facing the restroom building and witnessed uniformed teams of mail tenancy and housekeeping staff visiting the building often. There are attractive flower planters and the lawns are well groomed. They really make an effort. Lots of bright lights in the campground at night - probably for security. Felt very safe and secure. Tribal police and casino security drive through now and then. The biggee- YES, there is still a FREE washer and dryer in the women’s restroom. They are very clean and work very well. Please respect them so they continue to be free and available. What a nice treat that was for us full timers! The interior of the casino is very nice with a nice collection of Native American art and rock walled water features. Smells a bit smoky as most casinos do. A restaurant, a deli and several lounges are available. They even had a free concert Saturday night. Central to town and all the shopping you might need. Be sure to visit the Tower of History, the Soo Locks, Summer Camp ship and the River of History museum. Maloneys downtown has a lot of local beer on tap and a great pub menu. We even drove about 1 hour 15 minutes to White Fish Point Lighthouse and the Shipwreck Museum. We then went on to Tahquamenon Falls and ate lunch at the Tahquamenon Brewery - in the state park no less!

RV Park was a decent value. Electric, grassy sites, access to pool/hot tub/sauna. FREE laundry in women’s restroom/showers. Bathrooms were a little outdated and my husband said he had issues with bumblebees in the men’s showers. $3.95 breakfast special on Tuesdays. Dump station and water fill in main parking lot. There is NO free dry overnight camping allowed in their main parking lot. We tried after spending 3 nights in the RV Park and got a notice on our door that no overnight parking was allowed and we must stay in the RV Park. We tried the open electric pedestals too (by the dump stations) before just parking in the lot but we got ugly looks and overheard him saying we had “a lot of nerve” to try the free electric from the “camp host” guy, we think he is in the white semi/camper. When we were dumping before we left we saw him glaring at us from the RV Park, assuming that he was checking on our whereabouts. The Kewadin in Christmas has open free electric pedestals so we assumed it was the same. Guess not. Just stick to the RV Park and paying and you’re good to go.

What a joy to get free wash and level site for the price. Pulled in and started wash. Went over to the hot tub and used the wireless there to pull in the stronger signal. Great place for the money

They have about 60 spaces that offer 30amp. A dump and water fill station are available at any time. They also have three 30amp pedestal's in the parking lot near the dump that aren't locked, aren't numbered, and we used one and spoke with a maintenance guy and there didn't seem to be any problem just staying there for free if you were inclined which we were for a night. We also ended up paying to stay in the campground for three nights. We were having major issues with our house batteries and after speaking with the manufacturer they were mailing us replacements. We spoke with the casino hotel's front desk (who also handles the camping) and they had no problem with us having this shipment (on a pallet no less!!) sent to them so we thought the least we could do was to pay for camping. We did gamble some thinking that would also contribute but ended up winning!! Even better... the maintenance guys are going to bring us the batteries using their forklift when they get it! The staff here are all extremely friendly and the rules aren't very strict. More of a "golden rule" kind of place. Yes, the spaces in the campground are very small, but they are mostly level well cared for grass and we never saw it filled so we had plenty of room. Oh - did I mention they have FREE LAUNDRY??? In the women's bathroom in the campground. Also, by staying in the campground you get access to the pool, sauna, and hot tub inside the hotel.Cell signal - while the signal was good, downloading and uploading took quite a bit of time. Don't expect to be streaming anything!

For $20 a night, you get electric, centrally located water and dump, a picnic table, FREE washer and dryer in the ladies restroom, hot showers, level grass lots suitable for any size rig, access to the hotel's swimming pool, sauna, gym, and hot tub. Plus, if you like to gamble, it's only a short walk to any kind of slot machine you might want to play. The staff is courteous and helpful. Kewadian RV Park is located at the back of the casino on a small hill with woods bordering one side and a nicely landscaped hedge and flower row on the other. We never heard any traffic from the parking lot or casino. The only reason I didn't give five stars was because it's not full hookups. The casino is nice and it's a short drive to the lock and dam. Great restaurants and parks along the downtown waterfront. Access to Canada is just a bridge away. We had excellent Sprint and Verizon coverage.
