There is a tree between each spot and the hook up stations even have a light on top for those who enter after dark. The dog park is more like a 10x40 run, but it’s very clean with a rake left to pick up after your pet. Their WiFi worked well. We didn’t use the free cable to know how well that worked.

Its behind a loves travel stop. You can hear the Highway and the trucks parked at Loves. The laundry is only open when the office is, however it’s very cheap and the machines are fairly new.

Internet didn’t work, power was very faulty, power would turn off every 2-5 min for as long as 30 min even just turning on the lights, with nothing else running the power would shut off. The manager assigned us a spot and someone else was plugged into our site power so she had us move over one, I’m guessing his power was Faulty as well since he plugged into our pedestal. We left at 3am, very annoyed.

Not much for amenities for a longer stay, but a great overnight stop. Easy in, easy out. Right off of 40. Pretty dusty. Great price for full hookups. Train and highway noise wasn't too bad.

Just off of HWY 40 and you can make reservation over the phone then they will have the park map and receipt ready for you at your spot on the orange cone to save your location. With Covid, this is a great contactless option. NOTE: be careful of the speed bump just before the park entrance, we forgot about it on our way out! Then you can gas up right at the two stations that were right when you turn to go to the park. Everything you need for hook ups right there! Cable hookup we found on the other side of the electrical box, lower to the ground. Great internet coverage. Pull through is awesome as well. Train goes through the back of the park very frequently but no horn blows and since it close to the highway, we heard minimal noise. We would have stayed another night but some cold and snowy weather was coming in so we decided to get ahead of it. Found it safe and there are some long term renters there too. Happy Camping! There is a train track right next to the park but no whistles so the train in not really noticed. It doesn't interrupt sleep or TV. When driving to the park entrance, one wonders where you are heading since it is behind a truck stop. The park is small but very orderly and extremely neat. Most of the sites were full of long term workers. We were very impressed by how neatly kept each site was. There were several long pull through sites behind the office for shorter stays. We never met anyone in the office since we arrived during their two hour lunch. The office is closed from 11:30 - 1:30, so we filled out the necessary form and paid through the slot! We paid $2 extra for 50 amp. The utilities are worked well. Sites and roads are gravel/dirt and all were level. The park wifi was outstanding. We would stay here again.

It is more often you find a complete dive for this price then a little gem, but Bar S was good to me. The gentleman running the place was super friendly and helpful. The fact is, he charged me the discounted price as well, which goes a long way to me liking someone, so I ended up staying 3 nights here. Full 120v power, clean shower and bathrooms, and laundry at a reasonable price (free cable too but I have no TV). It sure has been nice to have all these luxuries, but I think it is time for me to move on… we will see how I feel in the morning after another good night’s sleep.By the way, Bar S RV has a weekly rate of $92 and a monthly rate under $200 (plus electricity).
