The hosts are friendly and helpful, she let us pick our campsite and we parked near the water. This is a very clean and quiet campground right on the water. There are plenty of full hookup sites. Sometimes lots of hook up sites mean “smelly camping” but this place didn’t have that at all! We loved it and will return if we are in the area!

Lots of beautiful huge oaks covered in spanish moss all. Sites are on grass. Has a dock and boat launch area along with a store, gas and propane. Looked fantastic for fishing and swimming. It was quiet during our stay but I'm sure it gets lively in summer. We were there for a 2 day stopover just as the huge Arctic storm decided to engulf most of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi so we didn't get to participate in any outdoor activities. Disappointing but would love to come back and enjoy in better weather!

The owner was very helpful and very friendly. Parked under huge beautiful trees. Waterway across the road. Very peaceful and relaxing. Would easily return! Stores offers just about anything you need. I’m sure it would be even more fun if we had a boat!
