This is just another large flat RV stop-over close to I-10, but many pretty little hardwood trees have been planted so it will have a different look in a few years. Because it is not really close to a town or any restaurants, it was easier to prepare dinner in our travel trailer, so plan accordingly if you don't want to drive off into the unknown. During the night, we heard industrial sounds nearby, but I-10 far enough away to not be a problem. Got a great night's sleep anyway! We will definitely stay here again while making the long tedious trek on I-10 across Texas & Louisiana.

Spent a night here with our kids after a long travel day. We were pleasantly surprised at what a nice park it was. Level, well kept pull through sites. Friendly front desk staff. Huge grassy area for the kids to run around, and a brand new swingset. The weather (march) was perfect.

Nice well maintained campground with large paved sites. The prices are good, has decently priced laundry on site, and the staff is friendly. The park is far enough off the freeway where there isn't much road noise. There isn't really anything exciting about the campground. Perfect for a one night layover. Check in was easy. Had a back in spot and the attendant asked me if I could back my trailer up. Hoping he asks everyone that, and not just female campers. Check in was easy. Had a back in spot and the attendant asked me if I could back my trailer up. Hoping he asks everyone that, and not just female campers. He then proceeded to "help" me back the trailer in which took about ten times longer than if I had been left to my own devices. I finally figured out that he was trying to get me as close to the utilities as possible which was unnecessary as I have extension cords and long reach hoses. I know he was trying to be helpful though. I will say that the streets where the back in sites are are way too narrow to do proper backing. STILL this was a good place to stay, right off I-10. Quiet at night. Good wifi.

Great pull through sites. Well lit. We only stayed the night but they made it easy for us to find out site after hours.
