The campground is well manicured but sites are tightly packed. One section is dedicated to (well-maintained) long-term sites. We stayed in Site 81, which is on the very end next to the dog run. Shore water and power were fine, but WiFi didn't reach that far. Showers had pretty wimpy water pressure and were just warm enough to get the job done. The biggest detractor is the road noise from the 4-lane highway just 100 yards away. For that reason, we wouldn't visit again.

This was a great surprise when we arrived. Veteran owned and very friendly people throughout the park. A LOT of amenities! Too many to name all of them but I’ll try:-dog run with toys-fishing pond -playground-tether ball (yes, for reals!)-soccer field/valley ball area-swimming pool-little petting zooProbably more that I’m not mentioning but a great facility. They had laundry, showers, and flushing toilets.Did I mention how friendly the people were?A lot of seasonal and full time RV’s in the park, well maintained though!Definitely a great spot to stop if you are in the area.Only issues we had was the fire pit was rather small, and it’s not far off the highway and a railway. so theres a bit of noise but not bad.

This is a Passport America campground, so the rate was great! We only stayed overnight, and we had a pull thru FHU site that was pretty level. The spaces weren't too close. We didn't use the showers or bathrooms. The laundry room was clean and had 2 washers and 2 dryers for reasonable cost. This is a great hidden jem of a place. The property has lots to do with a lake for fishing and paddle boating, basketball court, and a baseball field. There were events for the entire week if the 4th and the fireworks show would put most larger city displays to shame - it was amazing. We stayed for a week and the central location allowed us to visit family in Laporte, Lake Michigan, and Chicago. We loved this place and will stay here in years to come.
