We arrived at 8:30pm. Nice people to talk with during check-in. Escorted us to our site as it was getting dark. Overpriced, we paid $370 for a week. Intended to stay two weeks, but decided during reservation that only a week was in our budget as the price would jack up even higher as season began.Site was level, but there was standing water frequently after the hail and rains. No mats permitted on the grass so we were always tracking muddy water inside. There were 182 sites, mostly pull-thru. All sizes of RVs were present up to Class A coaches. Every site we noticed had a picnic table except ours, not a big deal this trip so we didn't mention it.Fairly full during the weekend with campers, but during the week was more vacant. Didn't observe any long-term residents.Being on the river was nice. Easy access to the water for the dog to have a swim. Water toys available for rent at the office. $26/2hr for a canoe. Beautiful views of the University of Idaho, Hagadone Marine Group building, and the highway bridge. There's a fancy well-known floating restaurant within walking distance. Appetizers, salad bar and desert are budget friendly. We didn't try the entrées.Dog park is big with no grass or garbage can nearby. Dumpster is the closest bin for disposal. There are some decorations along the walking trail if gnomes and birdhouses are your thing.River raised significantly during our stay and impeded the walking trail. The current is strong for dogs to swim, be cautious with kids and pets.Water pressure was super HIGH. We hadn't been using a water pressure regulator since ours froze and cracked this year in Central Oregon. The valve is ball style so water is either on or off. We were able to quickly trot over to the office before they closed to buy a regulator for $16.00.Sewer was RV dump style, no threads. This was our first opportunity to use the rubber doughnut for a tight seal.Laundry room was nice with 10 washers and 10 dryers. Washer cost was $2.50 a load and dryer was $0.25 per 8 minutes. 40 minutes dried our clothes well. In the laundry room were two larger laundry folding tables and carts. There is a change machine on site. It didn't like accepting crisp bills, but worn bills were no problem. Coin rolls also available in the office.Showers and toilets were clean. Both Verizon (4G LTE) and T-Mobile (5G UC) were 3 bars. T-Mobile outperformed Verizon with 24Mbps down and 1Mbps up. Wasn't able to get a Verizon 5G connection. RV Park wifi wasn't any better and experienced high latency.I'd have been content with a $250 weekly rate for the experience.

For 70 bucks a night, you'd expect peace and tranquility... especially in CDA. Now that we're here, they tell me that construction... I'm talking major, earth- moving equipment... had been going on for months and will continue for months. It's unfortunate. Go somewhere else, save your money, save your sanity. It's loud.

It's beautiful, they rent kayaks and patio boats. There are showers, restrooms and a very clean laundry facility. There are american flags which is appropriate as we are Americans!

Is it on the water? Yes... kind of... a very small portion is. There is a tiny private beach but it wasn’t very scenic and the whole place was just not very nice. No amenities. Bad WiFi. But, the worst was the huge number of rebel flags and other paraphernalia advocating violence and aggression. Lots of loud, angry conversations and arguments that went late into the night. Every morning we woke up to find fresh dog poop on our site that wasn’t picked up. Overall it felt low class and I didn’t feel safe or welcomed.

We were really disappointed with this campground. The campsite golf carts fly hate flags, as do other campers. Our site had a bunch of broken glass in it as well as other trash. There is constant speeding, the worst offenders are the campground workers in the golf carts.

We would echo most of the earlier reviews as to the location and maintenance of the park. One gentleman host was very helpful in sharing knowledge of my needs. However, other staff seemed put out when we asked for information on things such as local hiking. Also, with everything opening up in the country due to easing of restrictions, it seemed odd that bathrooms and showers were still closed during our stay. So we can only assume that the maintenance would be equal to the grounds. The only real issue we had was wi-fi. Neither of us could stay online for any length of time (except early (like 5am). When we questioned the staff, we were told it might be better if we went outside and pointed toward the tower.

The park is very near downtown Coeur d’Alene and we rode our bikes from the campground to downtown in about 10 minutes. The camp hosts are fantastic and came by to see how everything was going. The park opened for the 2021 season on April 1 - so the staff was still actively sprucing things up while we were there. We have a class B+ and had plenty of room - there were several large Class A motor homes and large 5th wheel campers that easily fit into spots. Cedars Floating Restaurant was about 0.5 miles away from the campground and is a very easy walk for a fantastic dinner (& drinks!).

Pontoon boats are available for 1/2 or full day rentals. Good Verizon coverage, but so-so AT&T. We were able to work remotely using a Verizon hot-spot. Laundry was clean, but very busy. Campground had tremendous turnover in 3 days, but it never seemed crowded (other than at the laundry). Only drawback was explosion of gnats...literally thousands of gnats swarming around the tree right outside the camper. They laid eggs in the trees and clouds of gnats would greet you in the evenings. However, would absolutely stay here again.

We stayed in mid-July It is fun, in a great location, well kept and a great place to meet up with friends or vacation. The downside is that they charge $5 extra per person, per night if you have more than 2 people in your party. If you are on vacation and want to utilize the property for such, than it is worth budgeting this in. Otherwise, it is a very pricey stay, if you have kids in tow. We loved lounging on the beach along the river and being close to town. This is also a great place for kids with plenty of room for them to roam and ride bikes around. There is even a small dirt bike trail. Our stay was great aside for the boat rental we had hoped for. We had family visiting us and had planned to rent a pontoon boat for the day, but the boat was out of service. It would of been nice if they had called us ahead of time, so that we could of made other arrangements. The park is closed October through March. They do not offer discounts or weekly/monthly pricing.

Overall, we felt like the park would be sufficient for making a short visit to the area. The park is clean. Sites are gravel, narrow, and are very close together. Interior roads are narrow, and many cars and tow vehicles had to park partially on the roads. Our tow vehicle would not fit on the pad, so we had to park it partially on the grass area next to the site. The majority of the individual sites did not have any landscaping or shade trees, to break up the "parking lot" feel. We found that the park's wifi was weak, with constant dropping of the signal (using a signal amplifier). There was road noise from Route 95 (although the noise quieted down during the evening), and from the Marina that is located next door. There was construction activity at the Marina (right after the Memorial day weekend), with truck and equipment noise starting early in the morning. Overall, we felt that this is an average park, and very expensive ($55 per night and up) for the size of the sites, lack of landscaping, inadequate wifi, and the "parking lot" feel. It would not be a park where we would want to spend an extended period of time.

For $62 a night, double what we typically pay anywhere else, I suppose we should expect that. The park was well cared for with nice laundry and showers, plus fast wifi. It’s right on Lake Coeur d’Alene, with a pleasant beach for hanging out. Paddleboats and pontoon boats were available for rent, which we would have taken advantage of had we stayed longer. The highlight of the park for the kids was a BMX track out back by the dog run. That alone earns them the 4th star in our book. The kids had a great time on it, and we had somewhere to send them for a little quiet time of our own.We are a family of four traveling in a 33-foot motorhome. Here's what we're looking for: A playground, stuff for the kids to do, somewhere to ride my mountain bike, beautiful scenery, fire rings, plenty of separation between us and neighbors, shaded and private sites, easy to get in and get level, electric hookups, water and dump station on site, clean showers, and not terribly expensive.I took a star away mostly for being an RV park, and for being expensive. As with most such parks, you’re jammed in pretty close to your neighbor, and there’s little or no shade in the sites. We did get a site in the Gazebo area, which gives you a little more space, and our spot faced right out onto the water, so we got lucky in that regard. Such ‘waterfront’ sites are in a higher price tier. We didn’t appreciate the subpar playground, or the lack of fire rings in the sites. We had to break the rules in order to let our kids ride their bikes around the park, though no one harassed them for it. Finally, because we don't travel with a separate car, this park feels a little hemmed in. There's really no where to bike or walk to, as you have to immediately cross or walk on the busy US highway right outside.
