We have stayed three months and have enjoyed every minute of it. Very quiet and peaceful, at night you can hear the train in the distance sometimes. We are actually coming back to the area in a few months and will be staying here again, as a matter of fact anytime we are in this area of the country we will be staying here! You can get your propane tanks filled here as well and the price for doing so is reasonable compared to Tractor Supply in nearby Sykesville.Sykesville is about 17 minutes away and has all of the big stores you need like Walmart, Home Depot, Shopping, Grocery Stores, etc. Piney Run Park is nearby if you want to go there for the day and rent a kayak or canoe and enjoy some time on the lake. Check out the website for Ramblin' Pines Campground to see the site map and they have their rates!

The heat wave broke when we arrived here to find this outstanding campground. Take a dinner trip into Sykesville for an unspoiled late 1700’s town with lots of interesting architecture. Staff is friendly and you won’t be disappointed!

We stay here every year when we come to this area to visit family. It's a large park with lots of family activities. Most of the sites are heavily forested, although it is possible to get satellite access from some of the front sites. There are a lots of rules and extra charges for guests but the result is a clean, well-run RV park.
