Our Passport America membership had just expired, but they were gracious to us and gave us the PA rate of $27/night tax included. They were also helpful in making suggestions on what to see. They told us about the Georgia Sea Turtle Center on Jekyll. Excellent learning experience there. The campground was a little rough w a mix of dirt, and grass w a little gravel on the sites. They were a bit small, and the roads a little tight, but manageable. Trees were well kept and limbed up. There were long term stays out in the back of the campground. Their spaces were clean, and they waved and said hello when we walked by. The pool was on the smaller side, but clean enough, and the kids had no complaints. There is a very nice outdoor covered space w couches, chairs a tv, and pretty string lights at night. They will have a new on-site restaurant open in April. We had no problems w sewer while we were there. Picnic table at our site, and I think each site had one. Cell service report is with our WeBoost. We would stay here again.

Overall a good campground, quit and clean. We had an issue with our sewage being backed up and had a bad experience but I wouldn’t let that deter us from going back. Staff were friendly and online booking was great!

This is our 2nd stay here. Even though it is very close to I95, it is fairly quiet. Staff are friendly. Campground is clean and nice with many pull thru sites. The sites are not huge but we have been in many that are much tighter. A good stop on this road.

Very friendly but the spots are not very wide. Many pull thru sites available and full hookups. Gravel pas just wide enough for your rig, and grass surrounding that. No fire pits which is big negative for me. "Dog park" is super small, maybe 15' x 10' and the dog walk is just a drainage area running thru the middle of the campground. No fire pits which is big negative for me. "Dog park" is super small, maybe 15' x 10' and the dog walk is just a drainage area running thru the middle of the campground. Close proximity to a lot of outdoor activities on the barrier islands, and about 15 minutes to town with wal mart, home depot, etc. Only a minute off I-95 also. Seems popular spot for weekenders but the site next to me had 4 different people in 4 days, so also popular stopover to and from Florida. Cell signal ratings based on use through peplink router.

Traveling I-95 north or south, those who are on the road for a long journey need a place to rest, and recharge. This is a great place for that. This is a great place for that. With Flying J, Winn Dixie, and a host of other stores less than a mile away, this place is great for restocking your camper. I would not call this a resort, but they do have a great restaurant that is only open for lunch, and small pool.
