We stayed in the newer Oasis section that has level, well spaced paver brick sites. It is farthest from the road so very quiet but also a long walk to the pool, office and clubhouse. Nice laundry is close by though. I’m not convinced that the extra $200/mo for this section was worth it as the rest of the park had nice sites too. Workers keep the park extremely clean and everyone was friendly. WiFi would have cost extra. Lots of OTA and cable channels to pick from. About 15 min to St Augustine old town and stores and a bit longer to multiple beaches.

We followed the campground instructions versus our GPS. Check in was a breeze as they came out to our rig and gave us a good rundown on the CG then escorted us to site 126 in the newer Oasis area. This site had FHUs that were smartly placed midway down along the stone paver pad. Back-in was a breeze. We were glad we paid the fee to reserve a specific site as this site was probably one of the very best and most spacious in the CG. Our site had more front area lawn plus bushes that separated us from the next site. We also had to pay $3 per night for our 2 pups. The pull through sites were quite close to each other where the back in sites provided more room, this was especially true near the front of the CG. This was a large CG that was fairly full throughout our 6 nights stay but surprisingly quiet. You could hear some road noise but it was not too bad. We were in the far back of the CG but if you were more towards the office/entry you would have a lot more road noise. Their cable worked well plus there were multiple OTA channels. Some people had their satellite dishes out too. Most sites in the Oasis area would support satellite, as well as the pull through sites near the middle of the park. The older sites near the entrance had many more trees. We were surprised that we only got 2 bars on Verizon. The CG WiFi worked OK and we had a repeater next to our site. You could upgrade to faster CG internet for a fee, but we did not use this service. The CG has ice, firewood, and propane for sale. There was a small fenced dog park next to the shower, laundry and exercise facility in the Oasis section. Near the entrance there was a larger fenced dog park (about an acre) with a smaller fenced area within the dog park. St. Augustine’s historic, shopping, and restaurant area is stupid busy Friday - Sunday. Parking is limited in general and tougher for a dually. Best time to visit is during the week.

The rate reflects 7 night discount, paver (premium) site, $30 fee to reserve specific site, and $5/day extra charge for our adult daughter who came with us.Check in was easy. They called ahead to charge remaining balance on reservation. We were guided to the site and given a gate pass for entry during the rest of our stay. The good: The paver site area is beautiful. Nice landscaping, a little dog park, a fitness center, and a feeling of being in a separate campground from the unrenovated sites. There are quite a few "buddy" sites which got heavy use which ended up being a negative. In addition to the little dog park in the paver site area, there is a HUGE dog park near the front of the park. It had agility tunnels, shade, etc. Our dog LOVED it.There was a heated pool, ping pong table, cornhole, playground, etc. In addition, the resort had a scavenger hunt for kids that was very well done and gave them a prize for completing it.The location was only about 4.5 miles from Old Town St. Augustine, so very convenient. A Dollar General was near the entrance if you need milk, etc. A Publix was being built close by.The bad: It felt like being in a giant tailgate party much of the time. A large number of people had outdoor TVs and radios playing loudly all day long and into the night. There didn't really seem to be a quiet hour. Many of the people stayed at the campsites all day and night drinking/smoking/being loud/etc. and the noise was multiplied due to the buddy sites. Many of the people we met said they were from close by, so maybe it was unique to it being Thanksgiving week and them just wanting to have a big party. There were a number of RVs in the unimproved area with tarps on them and people camping in cargo trailers, etc. It was separate from the paver area, but for $85/night, seemed more unsightly than expected. The unimproved area was very tightly packed with RVs.Verizon had a reasonable signal, but poor to fair bandwidth with a cell booster. Good enough for email, etc., but not for a video call most of the time.

The amenities were great. Nice playground and entertainment area for the kids. Clean bathrooms and large laundry facilities. The only thing I didn’t like is the proximity to the neighbors and the park was quite overcrowded. Our camper was filled with smoke the entire night from all the campfires. That made it very difficult for me.

This was our first camping trip. Everyone was helpful and friendly. We have 3 kids and were pleased with how friendly everyone was with our kids. All the facilities were clean and well kept. It was a little cool for the pool but it looked lovely. You do hear some highway noise at night but nothing that bothered us.

When you first arrive they gave us this little blue bag with hand sanitizers and wipes to keep as clean as possible. The site was clean and we felt very safe. The attendants were always driving around and seeing if anyone needed assistance. Got my propane tanked filled for $20. Not bad! We walked the path and around the lake. We played a little of ping pong. They had Friday night music and movies for the kids. Never got to go to the pool because of inclement weather. The beach was about 20 min away and it was gorgeous! Great place to stay!

We were way in the back in the newer section. All these sites have brick pavers. They are long, wide and fairly level. Lots of space in the buddy sites. Each site comes with a picnic table and above ground fire pit. The park is nicely landscaped with palms trees and other plants. The older, front section sites have white gravel and sand. Some come with concrete patios. Staff is very nice on the phone and in person. They guide you to your site. Directv did not work in our site due to trees but they have cable. WII FI was so so. We used our hot spot a lot. The pool looked clean and inviting although we didn’t use it. They pick up trash at your site, and they are pretty darn prompt about it. Couple of warnings. Tree parts tend to fall during storms – one limb even punctured someone’s door awning. Also, something from the trees left a brown color on the roof so when it rained it dripped brown down the side of the RV. Luckily, it easily washed off. Some road noise but it was mostly quiet at night. Convenient to St Augustine and about an hour from Jacksonville. We would stay again if in the area.

Well, this is one of those places. This is one of the best RV Resorts, in Saint Augustine. And the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is it does not have a restaurant/bar on the complex, and half of the sites, have not been updated.Everything about the updated part of this RV Park is totally top shelf. From the concrete pads, to the new restroom, and pool area, even the cable tv channel selection is fantastic. Saturday night live entertainment, ice cream socials on Sunday afternoon, Saturday morning breakfast, and the overall resort atmosphere, makes this RV Resort, a must return. There is still an older section of the park that is in the process of being updated. These sites are smaller, some are unleveled, and the showers have not updated yet. Those staying at a discounted reduced rate, or those reserving a standard campsite, may be staying in one of these campsites that have not been updated. Keep in mind Sun Resorts, the new owners, are updated the park quickly, and I suspect, the update will be done before the end of the year.

Wish they had paper towels for use to clean up area around the sinks after use - very messy and no shelves or hooks nearby to hang towels or your toiletries stuff. Showers had floor mats when you dried off; so a + cuz you didn't have to stand on wet floor when toweling dry; hooks for your towels and clothes, so overall good thing there. Not impressed with our site #3 maybe cuz we were in the "outdated" section of the grounds. The grounds were in need of cosmetic fix up although owner commented they were remodeling and building a new swim pool and restroom/shower building . It rained and our site had no gravel to absorb water. Instead the covering was a white crushed seashell type mixture that stuck to the bottom of your shoes and you constantly dragged it in the RV; even had a camper mat outside but it didn't help much; terrible old picnic table. It just wasn’t a pleasing atmosphere albeit the site was spacious and wide. I would still not return but find an alternative next time or ask about the newer renovated section of the park.

This campground is definitely a "parking lot" type facility, but it is one of the nicer ones we've been in. We were upgraded to a premium site because the site we had booked was being redesigned. So we ended up paying around $43 per night for a $60 site. The site was on a concrete pad and the hook ups were good, but we were right on top of our neighbors. If I were to stay again, I would just go for a regular site. The additional money isn't worth it since you don't get all that much extra space. They are working very hard to upgrade the place and it's really a nice park. They had some live music certain nights while we were there, there's apparently a stop for the hop on/hop off trolley tour, there are some walking trails in the back for walking the dog, the laundry facilities were pristine, and the park is located right down the street from downtown St. Augustine. Everyone we dealt with was very nice and helpful. If we're back in the area, we'd definitely consider staying there again.

Interior roads are not perfect by far, but not bad. I wouldn't call them good bike riding roads. Sites are ok size. We would rate it higher, but there is no separation between sites by shrubs or any vegetation which we like.
