Well, we were driving to somewhere we hadn't decided yet and we wanted to stop but this part of Colorado lacks the free camping we are accustomed to. My partner saw this hot springs across the road and we were like yeah! Let's do it! It's not Mystic Hot Springs, but it's clean. The staff is super nice and helpful. You park anywhere you want in the dirt lot. There's tons of old Shastas here. They seem empty and without a truck, but I think they might rent them out. I don't know, but they were fun to take night photos. Rigs of any size can park here. The pool was large and about 99 degrees. There are showers and bathrooms. No hookups because you just park in the dirt lot. You are locked in 10pm to 10am which is no worry for us, but if you planned to get an early start , you won't. The website says that it's $20 per night per couple but he charged us $20 per person. The woman at check out cleared up that it's $20 to camp and $20 to soak per couple. All the internets were strong. Verizon, ATT, and T-Mobile. Oh and it was clothing optional day. In fact, every day but Tuesday is clothing optional. Now I assumed that meant at the pool but nope. A very lucky man across from us came out of his class A to check on his solar over in his birthday suit. That seemed to be the status quo for the rest of the camp too. So you know, if you can't beat em.....
