This place is made to hide the shady people. She only takes cash and charges same rates as nice parks in the area. We only went because we were desperate. Place stinks like sewer and has mostly full time campers. Didn’t sleep a wink. Only upside is it has a pool.

  • A different kind of campground

Indian Springs RV Park near Canon City, Co This was a very different kind of park because if it’s location. It’s way out there in the country. Nice drive into a pretty valley. Owner was very nice on phone and offered turn by turn directions. We came in later than planned after 14 hours on the road. Her directions were great. She had gone home by the time we arrived. We picked a spot and squeezed in. VERY tight but we were grateful for a place to rest for one night. We didn’t use any amenities while there. Park was clean.Met up with the owner in the morning. She was the nicest park owner we have ever met! Was a character and very funny! She told us the history of the park. Her parents started it in the 60s. Still family run. It is a working ranch and They free range cows so drive slow coming in and leaving. The driveway is very long. Gave us great tips for our destination Ouray. The camp is very basic. Dirt lot lined by campers. Full hook ups. They do have a pool. Showers, club house, etc. There were many full timers living there. I could see the road being a possible problem if it has rained a lot. It’s dirt/minimal gravel. But the night sky was GORGEOUS there! If you are into night photography you will like this area. Very quiet park.Weak AT&T service. We didn’t use their WiFi so I’m not sure on it.
