This is a great campground. The sites are large, nice grass area. Great bathrooms and laundry. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Easy to get in and out with a large rig. The campground was full when we were here, but still very quiet. 4 bars of Verizon and pretty good WiFi.

This is a remote campground on a main highway. We saw elk grazing in the distant hills. The CG is large, but the sites are a bit chummy. We drove to Ridgeway with huge trees in a central park and a great hardware store. Had a beer at the saloon where parts of "True Grit" with John Wayne was filmed. The RR museum was closed (CV-19).

  • Very nice park!

A pleasant experience from start to finish. Easy and friendly check in, a guide to our spot, wide and level gravel parking with modern hookups, grass, trees, picnic table, etc. Dumpsters are off to the side but close enough. Lots of positives here. It is at the higher end of what we normally pay, but worth it to me. Only cons: there ...moreA pleasant experience from start to finish. Lots of positives here. It is at the higher end of what we normally pay, but worth it to me. Only cons: there is some highway noise from 550; but not bad. We couldn’t pick up any free channels , but are able to stream Prime video over our Verizon service. Didn’t try the local WiFi, bathrooms, or laundry, but we are self contained so never use them. Will definitely be back in the future.
