Great staff who helped get my 35ft 5th wheel in the tightest spot I’ve ever parked. They have a 36ft size limit for a reason. Right on the river. The campground was quiet and peaceful. The owners/staff were friendly and helpful. Our site backed up to the river with a small deck overlooking it. Our boys enjoyed climbing over the rocks to the river’s edge to play in the water. I’d highly recommend getting a riverside spot. The internal spots, while nice, didn’t have the same appeal. I believe a lot of them are permanent RVs owned and rented by the campground. The campground was conveniently located near Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.

  • Very nice, but very cramped!

The Big Thompson River is right next to the campground and the noise from the river provides wonderful ambiance. I was fortunate to get one of the sites that backs into the river. The sites in the middle of the property are incredibly cramped -- I'm not sure how some of the big trailers even found their way into those spots. Very conveniently located to both Rocky Mountain NP and Estes Park.
