Locate site number on the correct pedestal (can be confusing), then go pay. Full hookups, everything works, but no showers or wifi. Be prepared for where you are going next before coming here, you will have no cell service for route-planning while here. (We have AT&T and T-Mobile, neither of them worked.) You are in a tall forest! Right next to the freeway, can be loud at times. Never met the owner, only spoke briefly on phone to secure discount. Would stop again en-route.

They were all pole Throughs or appeared to be with connection points on either side of the site so you could pull in from either direction. They were long sites and we didn’t have to unhook. The water Spicket‘s leaked, at least two out of three but with all of the choices we had to hook up to we found one that didn’t. The park is a little rundown but there was no rubbish or debris. the park allies adjacent to the east side of Highway 101 about five minutes north of Willits California. It’s in a small ravine type area with the house overlooking it from the north. As others have said there were no workers present and it’s always based on self registration. They except all discounts. We only paid $20 for a $40 full hook up site with passport America. There was a gentleman cleaning up debris around the campground early on the morning we left. I would stay again as an overnighter on a trip. It was a convenient on and off Highway 101 with very little trouble parking in a space and leveling. Being alongside the highway 101 we did hear traffic throughout the night. But it’s constant highway traffic.

Aim for Shimmins Ridge Rd. Pulled into one other camper and maybe a camphost? Person had huge propane tanks outside their class A, so not sure. Self registration. Paid Passport America rate plus $2 for each kid. Parked closest to the pond, had a few friendly ducks hanging out. Campground had wifi available and it worked about the same as my Verizon 3G. I could load Facebook and send emails, no text or calling. The office had a concerning sign about water safety. So I dumped our pitcher we filled and stuck with bottled water.
Very small & noisy but full hook-ups for a great price
