Nicely spread out sites with full hooks ups, clean gravel, lots of space to stretch out in your site. A few cabins and longer term stays but feels very safe and family friendly. Definitely plan to come back and use as a base camp to explore more or lava beds.

  • Good for a few days

We stopped here while driving the backroads while we were headed to Mammoth. It's a nice park with a few pull through sites, a few back ins and a couple of cabins. There is a little store in the office, but not much there. So gather your groceries before you arrive. It's close to Lave Beds. Our pull through was pretty level, no problem...moreWe stopped here while driving the backroads while we were headed to Mammoth. We had a great experience with the owners and the park! Love their attitude for keeping sites spaced out, organized, and not overly crowded. Love their attitude for keeping sites spaced out, organized, and not overly crowded. This was a great base camp for exploring nearby Lava Beds and for getting out into the mountains. The owner did warn us they get super busy during hunting season, but we were only one of three people there in early November. One washer & dryer, but the on site showers looked great as were the bathrooms. We would definitely stay here again! The WiFi was decent, but we also got great Verizon 4G here with no problem.
