We stopped here on a trip south from WA. Park is beautiful with nice wide spots. Just off i5, but very quiet. WiFi was even strong enough for us to stream a movie. Highly recommend this place!

Most likely the nicest bathrooms and showers of any place we’ve stayed. 4 different sizes if spaces all the way to class A size spaces. Very nice staff. Loved this campground. Also, 2 dig parks!

  • Recommend in all respects.

Very well run and well kept place. Many sites have trees for shade. We had a friend that came from a weekend in the woods and needed a shower before we met for dinner. Showers were very nice and clean. There is a water park within walking distance that would be fun for children and teenagers in the summer.

Although close to I-5, we did not hear the freeway. There is a swimming pool here, along with Koi pond, & water feature. A creek runs through the site so you will go to sleep listening to the frogs and wake up listening to birds. Staff are friendly and helpful and there is a Propane fill-up here too. A bit pricey, but it was a nice respite from a long drive on I-5. Will definitely come back.

We were pleasantly surprised when we pulled into this campground. Mature trees, a creek running through, adequate space between camp spots, level concrete pads, a pool and very clean bathrooms. It’s everything we look for in an RV park.

We had a great two week stay here! Spacious sites, great employees, and good laundry facilities. Creek running through the property meant that we heard ducks and frogs, lovely for an in-town park! Close to everything in town.

Everyone was friendly, front office staffknew me by name. They have a variety of sites. Large pull though, some more premium with more lights and such. Hookups were fine. The cable TV hookup at my site was not working, but they mentioned that the whole place is getting an upgrade soon. I saw staff trimming bushes and trees daily.

We needed to find a spot to spend the night on the way back from Oregon to the SF Bay Area. We were able to call and reserve a spot during the trip down, and the office was very accommodating. After-hours check-in was a snap with our envelope packets at the late desk to pick up when we arrived. The access from I-5 was very easy with large and easy to read signage once you exited the freeway. We did find that maneuvering through the access roads within the park was a bit tight, but that could be our inexperience with our trailer (hence the 4-star on access). There were plenty of larger rigs in the park, so I don't think it is an issue. The park is extremely clean and well taken care of, and we appreciated the fenced dog run area as well. We used a pull-through spot (#42) with a concrete apron. We only used the Electrical hookups for the night, and those were in good condition. It was a very quiet park, we actually felt bad setting up as late as we did (and early the next morning) since our automatic jacks make a good bit of noise. There was good spacing between each location, but it was also winter and the park was not full.We left early the next morning as well to be back on the road, so we did not use any of the facilities or interact with the office staff other than on the phone.

This year we had planned to visit to Lassen National Park on our road trip south on Hwy 395. Due to fire danger there was no power at the KOA in Shingleton and we wanted heat at night. Silly but heck it was getting down in the 30’s so we went for a FHU.The pull through sites in the lower part of the park are great for big rigs. They are spacious and clean with grassy areas between sites. This is a very pet friendly park with two off leash areas and waste stations. The landscaping is fairly new in these sites but there are shady areas in other parts of the partIt was a easy day trip to Lassen NP which was awesome BTW. Would like to spend more time there in the future. We also checked out the Sundial Bridge in Redding and walked on the Sacramento Walking Path. I understand there is a homeless issue in this area but we only saw walkers and joggers on the path. The park also has security at night but honestly we never felt is was unsafe. Premier RV Resorts are very nice... definitely stay here again.

So we had to take out trash with us when we left around 9am.

While it's slightly older, it was neat and tidy like it was remodeled in past few years with pedestal sinks with hooks and shelves for your stuff and private showers with your own changing room including hooks for your stuff and a nice corner bench for stuff and sitting. Wish all RV Parks offered all this one had. Tiled walls and floors with mats on floor to step on as you finish the shower. The shower itself was of molded fiberglass with built in seat - much like you might have at home ~ nice. All sites and spaces are large with cement level pad. look at other guest pictures ~ it's for real. You're not crowded here and nice green belts with mature bushes and trees separate other sites. We stayed in a site on "other side" of the creek, cross the bridge and you'll find many good roomy sites. There's a new section to the back of the park with more showers and laundry and party room you can reserve for large events ~ even has a deck with BBQ. They rent 2 Yurts and 1 cabin if you don't have an RV ~ tent sites too. Very comfortable older well kept park. Rated it a 4 star only because to get 5 star from me, it's got to top drawer and relatively - almost brand new.

Premier is the closest to family, so it is our park of choice. Called ahead on a Wednesday for a week's reservation - pay for 6, stay for 7 - and got the last site available. We always stay in the newer pull-thru's simply because the landscaping is new enough to not interfere with satellite TV. These crowned sites are large, level concrete pads with gravel entrances & exits. There's grass between the sites and paver patios with a very nice picnic table that is easily repositioned. The setting afternoon sun allows for shade on the curb side. A free newspaper is provided every day except Sunday. If satellite interference is not an issue, the original portion of the park offers good shade in anticipation of the very hot Redding summers at most sites. Plenty of over the air channels are available. And the Internet has dramatically improved and is now just great!

Grounds are well maintained and everything is available, even propane. Phone service was very good and the park has cable available. Redding is not known as the safest area around, but we had no concerns at this park. A mix of full timers and short term stays throughout the park. We even did a little sightseeing last time in town and enjoyed the river. A trip to Lake Shasta is rather bleak right now and I would not bother.
