Redding RV Park is well-managed; the facilities are clean and maintained and the grounds are attractive and tidy. The staff members are polite and kind and our seven-day stay was pleasant. We have stayed at RV parks all over the United States; we count Redding RV Park in the top ten and we will be back again. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Otherwise they are long, paved and level with FHU. One could have a nice Mountain View over breakfast except the big rig next door is right outside your window. Grounds are nicely landscaped and maintained with a clean pool and efficient laundry. WiFi was strong and we were able to stream just fine. Hwy noise is a constant drone but not jarring. Less than 10 min to stores, bike trails and the riverfront.

Back in sites are short and tight, so tight they give you two sites, one for you vehicle. Our site was level, the drop offs on the side of the pad are ankle busters, so are the sprinklers sticking up in the only walking area. There were cigarette butts everywhere. Couldn’t sit outside, unless it was out from the awning on the asphalt. It was 100 degrees, checked out the pool, it was cloudy and so dirty I was afraid of bacteria. Didn’t bother getting in. The dog park is fine, small but works for what it is. They give you a list of rules that every seasonal site in there is breaking. Didn’t use the facilities, can’t comment on the condition. The WiFi is sketchy and slow. Verizon service was okay for calls, 2 bars, very slow for data It was very quiet, highway noise wasn’t an issue, mostly because the a/c was on. Good for an overnight, I wouldn’t stay again!

I actually liked this park. Only heard hwy noise when outside. It didn't have a picnic table like I thought but I improvised. Staff was gracious with a smile. Site pull thru and level. Great stop for passing thru

Not much around here but if you’re stopping on the way it’s great. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, wifi, easy hookups. Exactly what we needed.

We have stayed here before. It is not as nice as the competing park across the street but it is cheaper. If you are not going to be at your RV during the day, why pay for the nicer park? Friendly people. Sites are very narrow, some trees wreak havoc on slides and awnings. Some sites are very terraced. Lots of permanents but no issues with that. WiFi is hit and miss but we live in 'Faraday cage'. It comes with all the sights and sounds of Interstate 5 at no extra cost, worse in the eastern part of the park.

It worked as a late night stopover for us. The available spots are number on envelopes and left outside of the office, so you can pick which available spot you want. At the beginning of September we had at least a dozen sites to choose from on Labor Day Weekend. Did not love the after-hours vibe in this park. We pulled in late and pulled out early. This is fine for a stopover, but this is not a place I would choose to park for a longer duration of time. This is the Good Sam discounted rate. It is easy to maneuver through the park though and we had a nice long and level pull-through spot.

We were passing through on I-5 and lucky to score a site in this park. Pulled in at 3:00 so be advised if you are traveling without a reservation. Sites are paved and flat and tight, as in most commercial campgrounds. Bathrooms clean and showers great with lots of hot water. Staff was so welcoming and that makes such a difference.
