Fine for a night; quiet; nice folk. Beautiful country! Would have liked to stop & explore the area if we weren't trying to get ahead of the weather. If you happen to park near the restrooms, beware that an approx 6-million-lumens light will shine into your rig all night.

Within a mile and half from Burney Falls. We found the resort welcoming, hook ups well maintained , sites comfortable - but not necessarily private . Did not use any of public areas as we wanted to stay to our RV. A few residents looked long term, but they seemed to be in a different section. AT&T network was good , could get online .

The owner bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed. He let us choose our site which had a gazebo and picnic table. Some full timers but a nice amount of overnight spots as well. We would come back!

The camp host is fantastic - he was attentive to all campers’ needs. He saw that we were missing a few items to make our experience more successful and brought them to us. He shows great pride in his job by showing a great attention to detail. He had great information about things to do - a regular camping concierge. He helped us get WiFi and explained that we would have no phone (Verizon- argh) and offered to let us provide his # as an emergency contact for our housesitter.
Great and BETTER alternative to Burney Falls Campground itself

Nice lady running it said they were busy April-May but suddenly quiet in June. Some semi-permanent stayers, but no problems.WARNING - NO cellphone signal. In fact - extra local tip: visit the SETI alien-intelligence-seeking organization Hat Creek Radio Observatory 17mls south (at 40.817593, -121.4699) - they are there BECAUSE it's so radio-interference-free! Like a mini-'VLA' and free to visit and look around. For cell signal and nice free place to stay this area, see (primitive) Hat Creek Rim Campground 23mls further south.
