On one side we had our neighbors fire directly under our bedroom window. On the other side we had three dogs left alone all day, barking. The large one left tied up on a 15 foot tether so it could come over to our campsite to do its business. The second day a family came in and took over the beach. They parked their boat and second truck on the street directly in front of our campsite, totally blocking our view and blocking us in. It was clear they were planning to leave it there all night. We asked them to please move their boat because we couldn’t get out in an emergency. He moved it up, just past our truck so we could get out, but he was still in front of our site blocking our view. BTW, in the picture their rig is parked in both I-12 & I-11...even though their site was I-11.The park has rules, but nobody goes through checking. I’m not on vacation to be a campground cop. The issues we ran into should have been taken care of by management, had they cared enough to know what is going on in their campground.I can’t comment on the bathrooms…they were practically in another county, so not usable, unless you don’t mind using a portable potty for $75 a night. There is no sewer hookup. When we checked in they stuck a sticker on our truck window and one on our trailer. The only way they will come off is with a straight-edge razor. There are several nice state parks on the water in the area. Do yourself a favor and book there instead.

Across from the campground entrance is a 3.6 mile walking/bike paved loop. Our RV site was in the NB section. We are beach front unobstructed views. Concrete patio. The sites in this section only have water and electric. You can pay $10 to have your tanks pumped. Some of the other sections within the campground are not as spacious but they do accommodate big rigs. We work remotely and had no trouble obtaining a cellular signal. We do have a hotspot. AT&T 4bars LTE; 30+ download and 3+ Upload consistently and actually we've seen faster than that.

Showed up a little late and the super friendly guard station directed us to I 27 no sewer hookup the spot was about 6’ too short for us and was angled crazy on a hill that put our front end 6’ lower than the back. After talking to the office staff they moved us to H46 full hookup site for $6 less a night. The initial impression of the campground was that of something you might expect cousin Eddie to camp at in Vegas vacation. Facilities and bathrooms were very run down. Bathrooms had not been cared for at all. H row bathrooms had welded steel grates as stall doors and water was only Luke warm for showers. The evening after being moved to H row the power went out and no one informed us of any problem so the next day I asked the guard station and they informed us that we could get a room or purchase a generator, I let them know I have a generator and that if they filled our propane I would use that for power. Campground was out of propane so we filled at a nearby convenience store. The office insisted on giving reimbursement as a credit to a future stay and only after insisting we were never planning on coming back did they reimburse us after talking to the managers manager. Bottom line is if you like Boondocking and paying dearly for it this is the campground to stay at!! 1 star because the gate and store staff are super friendly.

The spots are tight but campers are friendly - lots of snowbirds still in March and weekenders with boats and other water toys. Facilities are dated but clean and operational. Park was quiet during my stay, with campers respectful of the quiet hours. Campsites near or overlooking the water are much more pleasant than those up on top (near store/pool) - for views and cooler temps near the water. Sites are mostly gravel. Great location near downtown, tourist activities including the ferry to the casino across the lake and London Bridge, walking/biking loop around island, beach access, etc. If you're the kind of camper who wants to hang out at your campsite all day, this is probably not the place for you. If you need a place to relax and sleep after a day of adventure, this will do just fine.

Very dirty, extremely noisy with 4 wheelers and golf carts circling around with lights flashing and music blaring. Next door neighbor women got in a drunken brawl and were allowed to build a bonfire only 4’ from another rig. We reserved a 50’ spot and barely got our 36’ in it with no room to park our truck . Quoted $50 night but when we checked in they added $10 night for 2 dogs. This is the worst campground experience we have ever had. Please be aware before staying here.

The campground check in was short and simple. Large campground with many showers, restrooms, pool, general store, laundry, and cabins for rent. We stayed close to the water at F-32. Spent the night next to a party group who were up most of the night. Well beyond the "quiet time". We would have joined in but we had to be up early the next day. Electric, water, and trash were all readily accessible. There were rodents in the bushes behind the site however the grounds were clean. Very sandy sites, if tent camping bring tarps. Jetski rentals were a few steps from our site on the water. Unfortunately they were sold out for the day. Bring water shoes if you want to go in the water because it is very rocky. Other than the loud party going on the campground was worth the $50 to have a beachfront site.

This is a VERY busy and booked up campground bc of its location. They do A LOT of business here so there is no excuse for how run down it is. They pack rigs in as close as possible to make as much money as they can which is fine but then fix the place up a bit! We were with a group of about 15 rigs and everyone had the same comment. How can a place this busy not reinvest some of the money back into this place? Everything was run down from the bathrooms to the clubhouse to some sort of decrepit, make shift patio area in front of our site. See photos. The main room at the clubhouse had that really old, musty smell to it.I find it hard to believe people are living here full time given the condition of this place. I will say they do have a nice sandy beach for the kids to play on. We didn't spend much time in the campground so it suited our needs for a long weekend. Would I come back again? Maybe. We have stayed at one other campground in Lake Havasu that we liked better but the location wasn't as great. I guess we will need to look around and see what else is out there to see if there are better options in the area. Just a side note there is no sewer hook up and they offer to come around and empty your tank for $10. At least in the spot they stuck us in. The electricity was also a little spotty at times.

The campground itself is somewhat tired although the pickle ball, horseshoe pits, pool, etc were very nice. The washers/dryers were brand new (2/18). The sites were very tight with our awning just a foot or so from the Class A behind us. The patio area was concrete and pad was gravel. There are a lot of sites here with only a select few by the water or with a view. All utilities were at the back of the site so our sewer hose was stretched to the max (visions of the movie RV were dancing in my head) and power at our site was only 20 amp. Even though TV cable was “available” you needed a cable box from the office and when I asked they said they had none and had been waiting for a long time to get more so don’t count on it.The enigma part was that the people there were really nice and I spoke with many campers that had been coming back for several years and 5-6 months a year. They had formed their own communities of friends and the park offered a lot of social activities. As a stop for one or two nights it’s not bad and evidently for those snowbirds it has its own charm.

However if you are near the water you cannot have a sewer hook up. So you must drive to the dump or pay 10 bucks to be pumped. I went to the showers to save water and they were in dire need of fixing up. Had trouble getting hot water. Also the water in our area of the park went out one afternoon. There's plenty of boat noise as well, but it quiets down at night. Lots of tiny flying things that you cannot keep out of your rig...unless you never open the door. We had fun stand up paddling but found other areas to camp along the lake that were more suited to our preferences.
