Valley Vista is a nice park, had gravel sites which appeared to be freshly raked. There were few picnic table, and the one at our site was in bad need of paint. It was a full hookup site, which was also level side to side. Had to lower the nose of our trailer to get it level fore and aft. Not a big issue. It is an all gravel campground, but our site was nicely raked before we arrived, so there were no ruts or dips. Plenty of room in our back-in site to park our 29' travel trailer and our pickup. As mentioned, there is a nice dog park. Restrooms and showers were only at the office. But they nicely maintained. The pool and spa was open. They have social events scheduled while we were there (just missed the ice cream social).Good restaurants in Benson. We ate at a very good Mexican restaurant (Mi Casa Mexican) and they have an old fashion ice cream shop. My wife got a vanilla cone, but I enjoyed my hot fudge sundae. Apparently, the Benson McDonalds was the first McDonalds to have a drive through window. The current McDonalds has been moved from their original location. However, they have a large T-Rex dinosaur statue in front now!We would stay here again.

Stopped along the way back to Lake Havasu for the night. Website worked well from the road and we were contacted in no time about our reservation and site number. Staff left our information packet out for us as we were arriving after office hours. Easy to find our spot and settle in for the night. We stayed here at no additional cost as part of our Thousand Trails membership. This was a good campground for exploring southern Arizona. The facilities are nice and clean and the staff was great. We appreciated the off leash dog area as well.

The park is part of the Encore group and our stay was covered with our Thousand Trails membership. Paid WiFi was good as was cell coverage. I work remotely and those are very important metrics for me. The park was clean, well kept and the staff helpful and friendly.

This campground is currently for 55+ campers. Really nice location. Quiet and peaceful.

We used our Passport America and received a great rate. This is also an Encore Resort. Large level sites. Laundry is large and clean. Nice pool and spa. There is a nice sized dog park as well as a nice dry Creek bed where we walked dogs.Park is about 20 minutes to Tombstone where a great day can be had. Grocery stores are nearby.

Most days I had to bring my slide in because it was really that windy. 20-30 mph sustained and 50 mph gusts. I was on top the hill with no wind break and part of the issue. Also, they gave me a site where the sewer connection had to travel up hill which is never fun. They charge for 50 A service at this location. The pool is small but nice. They also had a hot tub. Was hard to level as all the spots are on a hill and grade so L-R and F-B was hard but I was able to do it (manually and not with the auto levelers). When I checked in the person seemed really new and was learning but was friendly (always nice). Great cell service and the town has a Walmart/Safeway/Starbucks and some very nice places to eat (Mi Casa was my Fav!). It's an Hour to Saguaro NP and a number of other attractions within an hours drive (don't forget Tombstone!) The trains are across the highway and can be heard periodically but isn't too often or too loud.

We stayed here 4 nights while traveling from CA to TX. This was our 1st stay as a Thousand Trails, Trails Collection member. Nice smaller resort with FHU, clubhouse, heated pool and hot tub. Friendly staff and seasonal residents.

Not a ton of amenities but good laundry, pool and hot tub. Also lot's of activities. The gas station our front (no affiliated) has the basics and a decent deli. There's plenty of shopping and some decent dining in Benson. Nothing really fancy about this park but it's clean and in a good location with very friendly staff. We liked it!

I don’t have a car so the ability to use BAT(Benson Area Transit) and Lyft in the area is a real bonus to me. Town of Benson has everything you could need.

This is the small campground with the big heart! What we loved the most about this campground was the sense of community. The residents and campers made us feel welcome. Be careful when loading the washing machines. Once the lid is closed it can't be reopened. I lost more money than I'd like to admit due to that. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would gladly camp here again.
