I wrestled with whether to give it 1 or 2 stars. As I know nothing about the motel or the rear area of the park, so I can only attest to the front area where they put me.There are actually SOME (a few) decent rvs there but I was placed in-between 2 totally dilapidated travel trailers that looked barely habitable. As I know nothing about the motel or the rear area of the park, so I can only attest to the front area where they put me.There are actually SOME (a few) decent rvs there but I was placed in-between 2 totally dilapidated travel trailers that looked barely habitable. One collected his trash bags on the ground, there was a soda bottle full of urine on the ground and he just kept walking past it, I finally put it in the garbage, one other trailer has furniture stacked around it, the ground was littered with cigarette butts, bottle caps, etc., and my dogs kept trying to eat old beef bones from the ground around my trailer, so obviously nobody ever cleans up. The rocky roadway is very rough and strange characters walk through at times so I kept everything locked up.The park itself is very quiet except for VERY loud trains day and night.Unfortunately I had prepaid 4 nights, otherwise.....?
Town is great unvarnished old west strip anong the road. Watch out though

Quaint and colorful town and campground. Very basic with mainly permanent residents. Right on the roadside. 30 or 50aa but you have to ask for a 50a.. Gravel lot. Full hookup only per owner on phone. $30.00. Website said the sites were electric only and $14. We were headed to a boondocking spot but saw that there was an electric only ...moreQuaint and colorful town and campground. Very basic with mainly permanent residents. We were headed to a boondocking spot but saw that there was an electric only CG for $14 and went there. Turns out that the CG changed hands and they had not seen fit to change the site. Possibly innocent but Bait and switch nonetheless.

Spent one night here after boon docking for a week. Needed hot showers, laundry, and empty our tanks. They were super friendly, kept the laundry room open late for us (cheapest laundry we've ever seen), and had a nice level, clean spot. They have free wifi in the lobby. Very little road noise but there are train tracks not too far away that you can hear at night. Did not bother us.
