It is NOT 55 and over. Which is rare. We have 2 kids and while most of the people are 55 and over they were friendly and we didn’t feel unwelcome at all. In fact the opposite. It is also very dog friendly. Pricing varies seasonally and it’s $5 a person per day over 2 people per site. With a max of 4 per site. So for our family of four during peak season it was $445 including tax.But they have a LOT of amenities. Indoor pool which was very warm and in a huge room so felt very safe during Covid. Hot tub, sauna, art room, sewing room, ping pong, pickle ball, yoga room and basketball (small but can shoot hoops), restaurant and two dog park areas. Only things that could be improved are some sites used to be mobile homes, so water is on wrong side. But we had no problem hooking up. And the laundry is small for number of sites but they are building an additional laundry facility now. Also you can ride UTV’s from the park. We will definitely stay here again.

Our spot was right next to the highway but with the cooler weather we had windows closed and didn't notice any road noise. We appreciated that there's a hot tub here but we didn't find time to use it.We got propane at Mountain View RV Park which is right next door (this place offers dry camping for $20/night or $100/week)

We stayed in a pull-through spot located on an raised island of hard-packed sand and pea-sized gravel, separated from the paved roads by a sloped concrete curb. The site was fairly level, with the water spigot located in a semi-covered hole in the ground (for some insulation during cold nights) and a cable hookup attached to the power pedestal. There were some trees next to some sites, but none were really big or tall enough to provide shade to the RVs, so it probably gets pretty warm here in the summer. The back end of the campground is a mix of long-term RV residents and small cabins. Most of the amenities are located within the large central building, which used to be the grandstand for a greyhound racetrack. It contains the office, the swimming pool, a few pickleball courts, a workshop, and a restaurant with an outdoor seating area. During our stay, the restaurant was serving different meals each night for carryout. The resort holds a variety of activities during the month while still taking precautions due to COVID-19.The resort has two enclosed dog parks in the front north corner, one larger than the other. We were also able to walk our dogs on leash in the dirt area behind the building and the south side of the campground. Despite a written rule about not letting pets use the campsite as a bathroom, no one batted an eyelash where our dogs occasionally failed to hold their pee until we got to one of the aforementioned areas. The one amenity the campground doesn’t have is propane refill service. But you can either contract with a local propane delivery service that has a relationship with the resort to get propane delivered right to your site, or you can drive over to the RV resort next door where they’ll sell propane to anyone who wants it. The resort does offer recycling, which was nice.In terms of cell service, the best speeds I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna during our stay was around 30Mbps down and 11Mbps up, which was enough to stream TV with an occasional stutter, though as our family warned us the signal strength would suffer if it was particularly windy. The one speed test I performed on my AT&T phone showed 99Mbps down and 7Mbps up. The one obvious negative of the resort is road noise, as it’s located off the frontage road running parallel to I-19. If you need groceries, you either have to settle for what’s at the Dollar General in Amado or drive 15 minutes north to Green Valley.

This was our second stay here. Very close to Tubac, AZ. Friendly staff. Very well maintained. Beautiful views. Lots of room in the RV slots. It can get noisy with its proximity to I-19 but not excessively so.
Still a great place to stay

Price paid reflects the low season, weekly rate.First, the great news, the Verizon cell tower that was installed in the Spring is now functional. It rocks. If you depend upon Verizon for your cell service, you will no longer have any issues at all.The only downside to this visit is that it is the resort's slow season. That means that the sewing room and the fitness room, with other facilities in the main building are not really being used. Thus, the air conditioning is turned off. Plus the TV in the sewing room had been removed,. I am sure it will be back up come high season. Also, the restaurant was closed. However, the hot tub was still HOT (the way we like it) and the pool was refreshing.Still, this remains an excellent place to stay if you are visiting the area. We will be back again and again.
Excellent choice for the area

Nothing has changed, still a friendly place to stay and convenient to Green Valley. This time I did use the quilting room and the people could not have been nicer about making a spot for me. Verizon 4G is still iffy, BUT, there is a new Verizon tower going up .5 miles from the campground, so this should improve very very soon.********************************2015: Stayed here for 2 weeks while visiting parents in Green Valley. Nightly rate is based on weekly rate. Sites are level and gravel. Sites near the highway have trees. Electric and cable in the older section (near the highway) are at the back of the site. Oddly, the water is next to the patios...you have to put a hose under your rig. Small concrete patio. WiFi is variable. We had no trouble picking it up with our external antenna but it was often overloaded. Neighbors next to us had major problems picking up the WiFi signal. Verizon gave 2 bars of 3G (unless you did a fresh reboot on your phone and place it in a window, then you could get 4G for a short while). Excellent OTA tv and cable tv.Hot tub is HOT the way a hot tub should be. Pool is warm. Only downside (at least in April) is that they are inside. Outside would be preferred this time of year.Only 2 park models in the entire park, so it is mostly RVs, etc. Found the sewing room too late for my stay. Extensive woodshop, which came in handy when my husband needed to drill some holes in a metal bar. Owners are very nice. Broasted chicken in the on-site restaurant is to die for! We would definitely stay here again, due to it proximity to Green Valley. As for the road noise, yes you can hear it. But it's not that bad. We've been sleeping with the windows open and it has not been an issue.
