Full hookups, clean park. Variety of tents, cabins, & RVs. Very dog friendly, WI-FI throughout the park was pretty good, but I had zero cell signal. No BBQ grills in the front spaces, but the view and access was awesome.

Wow! The location of this park to the river is incredible. The swimming area of the river is also not very busy compared to other Texas rivers. The bathrooms could use a little help (they may have been inconsiderate guests), but other than that it was an amazing stay and Tammy was extra helpful and available when we needed her. Mason was also a cute town to walk around and grab a bite to eat. We will for sure be back!

Sites were good lower level one through five is the preferred place to be.The bad. Getting to the campsite was a very narrow rough pot hold hilly dissent. The other negative was the shower and bath area for public use was in need of some serious updating and cleaning. We were there 3 days and no one cleaned or emptied the trash. Also Wi-Fi was spotty. And cell coverage was even worse. Summary. Overall a very nice place to just kick back and relax. Nearby town of Mason offers a few necessities but it is a town that also needs a facelift and a fresh influx of some businesses.

Only cons were that the upper river view sites were relatively close to each other and did not have grills for each site. (WiFi was weak at upper river sites but it kept me off my phone so maybe a pro?) The pros were endless: full hookups, beautiful Llano river access (short cut by the bathhouse), tube and kayak rentals on site, SUPER dog friendly, and Tammy the manager seemed to really care about our stay, even made arrangements for an extra shuttle when our tubing trip got derailed by a headwind that made us super late. Will be my new favorite getaway! Took us 2 hours from Austin and got to stop at Opie’s barbecue on the way home! Fantastic weekend.

Small and quiet park over looking the Llano River. Site was a little unlevel once we set up. No issues with a few blocks. The view and serenity will bring us back.

The managers, Bob and Marsha were unbelievably nice and accommodating! The park is in a gorgeous setting, super clean, maintained well, and the nearby town of Mason is really charming. They also have really cool cabins and Airstreams for rent. We'll be back.

We stayed in Site 2. Partially because it was closest to the water & probably mostly booked up. It was 102 this weekend so it was pretty harsh. I’d recommend Sites 10, 11 & 15, these have shade and are close to the river. Be warned the Restroom & Showers are up by Sites 30+. On the map it looks like it just up the hill. No big deal unless you are staying in a pop up with no bathroom. There is 1 male & 1 female bathroom/shower combo. It was air conditioned and seemed to be plenty for the park. It was a nice park & view. The town was quaint, food on the square was good & museums were interesting. The Llano isn’t a cool spring fed river, so in the face of 102 it was wet. But the locals come enjoy the river daily & so it was nice enjoying this little slice of life of the TX Hill Country. They do rent kayaks. They do have WiFi but no cell service.
