The huge lodge is a sight to see with the amazing old relics and beautiful statues underneath the extremely tall ceilings. I loved the staircase! Heather was so charming as she greeted me and made me feel right at home. There is a nice store with all kinds of gifts PLUS ice cream and old fashioned candies. A lovely swimming pool, nice cabins available, and of course the RV parking. The showers were spacious and clean. Each site had a picnic table. The ONLY downside to this place was they, like so many other RV parks, tried to cram as many spaces into the land allotted as humanly possible. For everything else to be so overwhelmingly beautiful, the RV parking was basically a large parking lot that looked like the Drive In Movies from yesteryear. It could have been so nice to have arranged the spaces differently, added some trees and made it as nice as everything else was. That been said, with most RV parks out there these days, this one was one of the best. The staff was wonderful, and the roadrunners running through the park was awesome. (As was the longhorns, bison, and what looked like (but were not I was told) zebras! Bandera was close enough, and it is a fun little town.
Fantastic facilities and crystal clear river access.

Spent 4th of July weekend with our family and had a fabulous time. Facilities are clean and convenient to RV sites, friendly staff, and perfect section of Medina river to sit and enjoy the crystal clear water. We had 8 kids under 10yrs and will hopefully turn this into a annual meeting spot.
