As a result I’ve stayed at a few other RV parks / resorts in the area and they’ve all been urban ugly, dirty and mostly noisy - remember leaving one last year and had to move around an ambulance there for a drug overdose (lovely). I found LVM Resort about six months ago and have now stayed here four different times and have nothing but praise for this place and their management. Getting in is very easy, they have a separate area to disconnect your tow vehicle and check-in. Management is very nice and helpful. Sites seem to be all privately owned and rented out through resort management, so they’re all a little different. I’ve stayed at their cheapest available to their most expensive and all have different amenities from full outdoor kitchens, small fish ponds and different types of outdoor furniture. This is the ideal place to stay for a long extended visit to Las Vegas. Location is close to the strip, maybe a 10 minute drive, but far enough away to be peaceful. If you want a luxury resort that is clean, quiet, private and well maintained this is it.

No matter what site you stay in (basic, deluxe, super deluxe), it's all WIN. We usually stay a couple of weeks a year here en route from the PNW to the SW as our once a year splurge. Rates are different per site and if you stay monthly, you pay electric based on usage. But then came Covid. So we decided to spend our first few weeks of quarantine in this luxurious spot, mostly due to the fact that it's in a major city (close to grocery/hospitals/infrastructure) AND because of the large lot sizes with personal outdoor space (we both work remotely full time). We knew we'd be spending 24x7 together for an unforeseeable amount of time (we often travel away from the RV for work, which gives us space in our togetherness, lol). And although the price is not for everyone, if you want a week (or several) of splurge, this is the place. Even without any of the amenities open (other than the laundry- which is cleaned every hour), we found this community welcoming, safe and a nice oasis from the state that is our world right now. In our current spot, we had no neighbors, and due to the large lot sizes, it was very easy to social distance from other folks in the park (y'all know some parks don't even have 6ft between rigs) ;-).One of our favorite things about being here during the lockdown is that folks have been doing a 'golf cart parade' every Friday night around 6pm. Those w/ carts drive around blasting music and honking at everyone, letting us all know we're in it together and still #vegasstrong. We grab our drinks and wave them by (from the safe distance of our spot). As others stated, this is a motor coach only resort. If you're looking for an alternative spot in Vegas, the Oasis is your next best bet (and not too far from LVM and the Strip).Cell signal on Verizon came in/out from 2-3 bars. Internet here works great (we can even stream from it most times). This is a gated ownership property, with 24x7 security, multiple amenities and was rated #5 in the US for luxury RV resorts.

We have never spent this much on an RV site before, but decided to splurge this time.We went with the standard site which was still more than we could have hoped for. Huge concrete slab, luscious grass that our dogs LOVED with shrubs and trees that provided privacy. The utilities are in a good location and we had no issues. Check in was easy and everyone here is welcoming and kind.We did notice that it didn't seem like others hung outside their rigs very often despite the lavish outdoor spaces many sites have. Most seemed to stay inside. This was a change from the RV Park we spent the winter in where everyone was outside and you often saw large gatherings of friends visiting. We did not see that here. We also didn't see many people out riding bicycles around the park, just saw people walking their dogs. It doesn't feel like a very active park, but again that doesn't impact the quality of the park, just the vibe of the people. The location to the strip is great and a cheap $12 Uber ride.We did love that they had secure storage for our cargo trailer. We have found that many of the nicer RV Parks don't allow trailers and the fact that they offered storage we though was a great perk. The Wi-Fi was the best we've experienced! I work full-time from the rig on the internet and never had an issue. We were also able to stream with no issues. Thank you for that!!The pool amenities were great. The fitness center was very basic with older treadmills. It's a dog-friendly park with grassy areas for dog relief with many poop bag stations which we really appreciate. The cleanliness and maintenance of the park is outstanding and has a true tropical feel. This is a very high-end park with the most high end RV's we've ever seen. The location to mountain bike trails was also very convenient and there was plenty of room to store our bikes at our site. This is a fabulous park if you are willing to pay the price for it :)

If so, I suggest pulling out your wallet and dropping some cash at LVM, where the grass is lush, the palm trees sway gently in the breeze, you have 5 pools and 7 hot tubs to lounge in and near, and you will likely be parked between Prevosts with Porsche tow cars and pimped out golf-carts.I have never seen so many tag-axled Prevosts, Entegras, Monacos, & Tiffin Zephyrs parked in one area in my life. My morning runs looping the 1 mile of the park were filled with dream-fodder of million dollar wheeled homes, and cheered on by their friendly, waving owners. This park's patrons were so friendly. Maybe it's easier to be friendly when your daily routine involves morning coffee under in your palm-fronded build-out, followed by a water aerobics session at the lap-pool, then a few hours sunbathing with your lady posse at the main pool, and a late lunch at 'The Diner', which you drive your pimped out golf-cart to because it is located on the edge of LVM property. Then maybe an afternoon nap, followed by happy-hour at your neighbor's build-out.The sites here are all concrete, bordered with grass which is auto-watered each morning. Trash pick-up is daily after 2pm at your site. No site is farther than an 1/8th mile walk from a pool. Even the 'lowest level' sites have a good 20' of concrete patio space, and each sites is separated from its neighbor by shrubbery. The park is very quiet, save for the rustle of palm leaves, the dull hum of airplanes flying into McCarren, and the occasional sound of laughter carrying over from whichever site is hosting a gathering that evening. There is a dog 'play area' near the front gate, which is manned by security personnel 24/7.Laundry outposts are located at each satellite pool's building, and are coin-operated. There is a swanky little gym with plenty of items to get your fitness on at the main pool. There is also a room with a massage table, showers, a sauna, and toilets at the main pool - just in case you want to hire someone to come massage out all those knots that you have developed from sunbathing and happy-houring all day. An Uber/Lyft ride to the strip takes about 10minutes and costs about $12 each way. While we had great Verizon/AT&T coverage, LVM's park WiFi was so freaking good that we used it for working and streaming - without issue. All of this relaxation and swank comes at a price though. Our rate was advertised at $72/night, but rates don't include taxes. In addition, you are charged $10/day for electricity - on top of your 'rent'. So, our total was $90/night. Sites are priced at three 'levels' - based on how many builds outs the site has. Some of these sites have build outs that are bigger than the biggest RV and include several layers of patio, bars, fireplaces, statuary, and fountains. In addition, you are forbidden from staying at this park unless you have a Class A Motorhome over 29' long. While there are motorhome age restrictions mentioned in the park rules (no motorhomes over 10 years), we offered to send the park photos of our rig before arrival, as it is 17 years old. Once we told them it was a Monaco, they waived that restriction (and need to send photos) and welcomed us to the land of plenty. We decided this park would a 'vacation', so while bucking up that type of $$ was a little painful, we 'reasoned' with ourselves. We would absolutely come back to LVM for another 'vacation.' We leave tomorrow morning, and I foresee my partner needing to drag me out of LVM kicking and screaming. Once you get a taste of the lifestyle of the rich and the famous, it's not easy to return to your run-of-the-mill RV park.

It's also far enough away that you get away from the craziness. Shopping is near by if you need food or paper products. It's an entertaining park, some of the site owners have put in extensive hardscaping and landscaping, so when walking through there is a lot of stuff to look at. It's a very pleasant environment. It's not an inexpensive park, so be prepared for that.
