We like this place for the large sites. It is located along the Sakatah Recreation Trail which is a paved trail popular for bicyclists. It is also along the Cannon River, but there is no real access to it from the Campground. There is a also Frisbee Golf course attached (but you pay separately for that). We like this place for the large sites, of which many of them are shaded. Most of them are also quite level. We have experienced some power issues (but they quickly addressed the issues). Which leads to the only beef I have with this place. The place could use some updating. Now we last stayed there in 2019, and I am writing this late in 2020. So they may have done some of that. This place is a great place to stay if you are family camping, like to bicycle or are planning a visit to Mall of America. It is also a great place for group camping. The campground has lots of open areas, and they have a couple of large covered gathering areas. It is family owned, and management was very helpful every time we stayed there.
