The camp store/office was very nice and they also had a pool table and some exercise equipment ( we didn’t use them but they looked to be in good order) We did use the laundry facilities (coin operated, very clean machines/room. We did not use the shower house but did peak in and it was also very clean. My only negative about the campground would be the noise, since the campground is very close to the highway and VERY close to some train tracks it was quite noisy but it didn’t bother us to much.

This nice lady quickly sensed I didn’t need further help setting up in our pull thru. Set up before the storm arrived (much later than predicted as it turned out); my assessment had changed. Very nice level gravel site. Internet facilitated streaming with only rare issues. Once I got over my my initial impatience this was great.

We positioned ourselves near the front of the site so we could open our awning not into a tree, and needed 30’ sewer to reach dump. Nice to have cable for college football. Easy on-off the interstate for quick 25-30 min trip to Bowling Green (corvette museum). Mammoth Cave was about 20 minutes away. We did not use the campground laundry facility but went to the Wash World laundromat which was clean with large machines that took credit cards and friendly staff. If visiting Mammoth Cave, recommend tour reservations in advance. Thursday was not too crowded, but Saturday tours were sold out(we made reservations the prior Monday).

They have a nice little campground with fairly level spots, a dog walk area, and a pool. We did not use the bathhouse facilities or the pool. The grounds are kept immaculate and there are nice flowers and plants. It was fairly quiet with the exception of being near a major road and railroad tracks. I actually enjoy being near RR tracks but some people might be bothered. Our ONLY complaint is that the water connection was so low to the ground that it made hooking our water hose with a filter attached a bit difficult. I would ask for a site that is away from the hotel that the campground is behind if you don't like a lot of light at night. Site 7 was far enough away. We would certainly stop in there again if in the area.

The Park is tucked behind two hotels, but the owners have planted greenery and trees to help block that view pretty well. As other reviews have mentioned, there is a pretty active rail line nearby, but I wouldn’t say it ruined the stay. Given the proximity to the interstate, there is highway noise. The owners and employees obviously care about the park. It is well taken care of from landscaping and general upkeep. There is a laundry facility, a (small) pool, and showers that are all clean. There’s a decent size dog park/run as well. Trash is picked up from your site every morning. Just leave it bagged up at the end of the interior roadway. There’s also propane service available (This is first time we have seen this offered, and I think that’s a great service to provide). Bundled wood is sold for $5 each. All sites are gravel, but are still rather level. We saw everything from truck bed campers to large class A’s pulling vehicles have no problem fitting. The only downsides I would mention are the following:-Sites are cramped. The hookups for the site next to yours will be very much in your camping area, and the same on the other side for your neighbor. This makes it awkward should you need to make adjustments or flush a tank, because you feel like you’re infringing on you’re neighbor. This didn’t end up being too much of an issue for us during our stay, since the site opposite our camp side wasn’t occupied for the majority of the visit.-Some sites have oddly placed fire rings. For example ours was at the very far end of the camp side, right on the interior road. If you like a little more privacy, site 32 isn’t for you.-Some sites have water hookups very low to the ground. This creates odd angles when trying to get water lines and filters hooked up.Overall, a great spot. If you’re planning a trip to Mammoth Cave National Park, or just need a quick stop on the way somewhere else, this is definitely a recommended park.

Order your tickets online, because they frequently sell out for the day. If you miss out, Diamond Cavern is a nice tour. Mammoth Cave is stroller friendly, if you have small kids. Diamond Cavern is not. There are lots of little roadside attractions in Cave City. Unfortunately, some are closed down. Maybe a sign of the times. Never the less, this is a very nice little RV park. There are several full-timers staying here, and all were very clean and well maintained. The only negative thing was a bit of road noise from the highway, and perhaps a bit of occasionally passing freight train. Overall, I found it very relaxing.

There is a nice dog park and a pool, though we couldn’t use the pool as it was closed due to COVID-19. The only reason it wasn’t a 5 and we won’t come back is because it is not kid-friendly. While they do not advertise as an adults only park they do have it noted on their site that they have no kids activities at all. I, of course, missed this important note when booking, it was buried in small print. With that being said if you do not have kids this is a nice quiet place close to Mammoth Cave NP.

All sites are pull-thru (big rig friendly). Sites are gravel with grassy areas in-between. They also offer overflow parking. As with most campgrounds you are close to your neighbors. Due to where the sewer, electric and water were located we had to pull the trailer further in and park the truck behind the trailer. Site 22 has a nice tree so we had some shade. The site was also very level. The campground was very clean. We both work remotely with a hotspot. We normally had 2 bars with the cell booster. We were a little surprised with the cell coverage. We had thought it would be better. The Wi-Fi was ok. We tried this for work as well and at times it did get bogged down and was slow. At night we were able to stream a movie. As mentioned it did get a little bogged down the busier the campground got or later in the evening. Mammoth Cave is close by as well as other cave attractions. Lots of fast food restaurants and a few other restaurants within walking distance. There is a liquor store nearby but the nearest decent grocery store is in Glasgow (Food Lion) about 20 minutes away. Wal-Mart is in that area as well, along with other amenities. The campground has restrooms/showers (we didn't look at) and a laundry facility (open 24 hours). There are 2 washers and 2 dryers. There is a Laundromat in Cave City, that we would definitely recommend called Wash World and Car Wash. Cleanest Laundromat we have ever been to, plus you can wash your vehicle as you wait for your wash. At the campground there is also a small workout room off the office as well as a pool table. You can get your propane filled at the campground. They have trash pick up before 10:00 am. You just need to put it on edge of center road. Our fire ring was a little further away. We wish it wasn't so close to the road and closer to our rig. Some of the positioning of the fire rings were a little weird. It also looked like some sites did not have fire rings. The campground has a dog park, pavilion and rentable clubhouse. There is a park model you can rent. As for noise there is a train that goes by during the night and early hours of the morning. It might not be so bad if you had your windows closed with the A/C on to block out the noise. We keep the windows open at night so it did get pretty loud as the horn would blow as it went by. You do hear some highway noise. Overall we enjoyed our stay and consider this campground more as a overnight or week stay. It is only 20 minutes away from Mammoth Cave National Park, so a great place to stay if you are visiting the park or the other caves nearby.

After camping at some gross places recently, this was a welcome change. Super clean bathrooms and campground. Wonderfully nice attendants that went the extra mile. They even had a workout room so I could squeeze in a quick workout while my baby was napping! They did have internet but it was very slow

This is one of the best landscaped RV Campgrounds we've stayed in, except one on the gulf of Mexico in Florida. It is so very well maintained, has full hook ups and is big rig friendly. It is so very well maintained, has full hook ups and is big rig friendly. What was sad was that we stayed here over the 4th of July and they weren't full booked! But then there are a number of other campgrounds in the area. Our arrival was great, met by a work camper, who was just so cheerful and couldn't do enough to make our stay pleasant. She had a stack of brochures to help us acclimate to the area and was willing to answer all questions. Later, we learned she is a recent breast cancer survivor! She KNOWS how precious life is and she just exuded joy. I actually thought she was the owner. There was nothing they could do to make it a better experience. We came to spend a lot of time hiking in the Mammoth Cave State Park. As it turned out, hiking there was a bit of a challenge. We've written several posts in our blog about it, attached. The worst part about the area was typical rural Kentucky we've now learned. Another couple missed the actual exit sign off the highway. The signs just aren't that clear. But we were given GREAT directions from the office and I would recommend following it to the letter (turn at the McDonalds and ignore your GPS).We had all the connectivity we needed, Wifi included in the price and no problems with Direct TV satellite signal.
