We stayed two different nights in the course of the week. First night in site 5 wasn’t great. Site was very close to the office and not super private. Plus it rained very hard and our site was a pond. It was a LOT of rain! Second stay was an impromptu return for better weather and kayaking on the Weeki Watchi. Site 8 was nice, lots of shade. The water faucet sprays terribly and it’s impossible to stay dry when trying to deal with your hook ups. Sites are kind of close so you’re not getting loads of seclusion, but it’s homey and real “old Florida”. The dock is great for fishing and there’s a kayak launch on site. There’s a small camp store that has the basics.
