Mostly seasonal/long term residents who were all absolutely lovely to chat with. Ended up going kayaking on the Chazz river which was a blast. Cell service was good but not perfect for video conf. The both of us still worked from there for the week with just a couple hiccups.

We were warmly received by both the owners and the other campers. Most are permanent dwellers. The campground has a nice set up, lots of plants and trees, and the wifi was good. There is a 40 acre piece of woodland that is part of the campground and is abundant with trails for hiking or biking. Art pieces are everywhere, from the seahorse floating on the pond to the gorillas in the woods. There are nice patios at the sites, and they are a little staggered, so you have a little more privacy. We were in a site in the front, close to everything. There is a entertainment building with a pool table, games, and a very big television screen. We got some fresh eggs from their chickens. The owners really care about the place and the people. Make sure you make a reservation, as it is pretty well occupied.Closest to the Weeki Watchee statepark, go see the mermaids!

We had a nice site right near the canoe launch on the pond. Our boys enjoyed kayaking for the first time. The site was easy to get into and other sites seemed to have adequate room. We were in an area where they could put tents, so we only have water and electric. Owner was easy to get along with but sometimes hard to find. The park advertises wifi, but the signal is very weak, even when I sat at the laundry area near the router. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. We met some interesting people and our boys had a great time. Places to see: Weeki Wachee state park (watch the mermaid show!)
