They painted a red line to help with the orientation but not worth it. leveling was not that easy as they never graded the sites after the reposition and have many potholes. Internet was non existent AT&T 3G Only! Verizon 2 bars and only 1 meg down. I have a New peplink Router with CAT 18 modem no help Internet horrible. I work from the road and this place even though its looks good it's just not for me. To be sitting and relaxing at the foot of a mountain this is the place for you, but don't expect to stream or work online while your here.

They add a charm and a ton of landscaping and personality to the park, however. Everyone seems to drive golf carts, play cards, and pickleball. Very cute community but definitely feels like a retirement community. The site had a tree and well-kept grass, although the back of the site had workers there doing something with power lines for 2 days. People were very friendly even though I'm definitely not close to retirement age. There is a large community building--the barn--which has pool tables, a large, free library, and side rooms in addition to the main space where many clubs and activities take place. I had to work for 2 days out of the barn due to power issues in my rig; WiFi worked great and it was quiet and mostly private (until the weekly poker game came in and the morning hearts cardplayers were there). There is also a small pond with a deck, BBQ, fire pit, and eating area overlooking it - very quaint. And the food in the store and daily lunch special is cheap--they even sell fresh baked bread and pastries made by a guest daily for a few dollars! Very cute community, but probably not a good fit for millennial hard-core outdoorsy types.

It is a bit of a unique park as it is an HOA community where most people own their lot but the park offers a few rental spaces for non-owners. The park is very large at around 700 spaces and still growing. Don’t let this scare you as they are nicely spaced and even with this many spaces, it did not feel crowded. The prices are good as we paid $260 for a week with full hook ups. There is no cable TV and the wifi is good but you are limited to 1 GB per day per device so no streaming. We used a Verizon hotspot and had just enough signal to watch our Fire TV. There are nice trees and green grass around most spaces but they shouldn’t interfere with satellite reception. SVR has an 18 hole golf course attached, a swimming pool, playground, pickle ball courts and a community center. It is about 1 hour south of Jackson WY and Teton National Park. Add another hour and you’re in Yellowstone.

  • Great, relaxing place.

Quiet and relaxing, close to hiking, mountain biking and kayaking You are about 45 minutes from Jackson and 1 hour from Idaho Falls. We loved it here and plan on coming back. Sites are gravel unless you rent a privately owned lot where the owner made some updates like a concrete pad which you can also do. You can rent for a day, week or month. We were told the monthly is about $500. Super dog friendly, large fields and a pond where they can cool down and go for a swim. At&t service was not good if you are more in the center of the resort.
