The park was COMPLETELY empty yet they absolutely will not let you check in until 2. If you ask them where to wait the only reply you get is "don't block the pumps". Everyday we watched tons of campers try to tetris themselves in the small gas station lot while waiting to go into the park. Supposedly this is because maintenance has to "get the spots ready." However, we watched "maintenance" (i.e. one guy) sitting in ATV smoking a cigarette and not doing anything while we all waited. This was confirmed when we finally got to our sight and found beer cans in the fire pit. The whole park is surrounded by stagnant disgusting water, causing the park to be a mosquito habitat. Our poor dog is covered in bites. Even in the middle of the day SWARMS of mosquitoes. Everytime you open the door to your camper or your car (no matter how fast you go) mosquitos get in. The people working the desk do not have an answer to anything you ask ever and are rude. The Wifi never worked and we didn't have a Verizon or AT&T signal (you absolutely cannot work from this park). You are miles away from any city amenities and it doesn't give you an advantage being by the Teton gate, bc there are other gates in much nicer areas. We loved Jackson & the Tetons but would NEVER stay here again.

I was boondocking in the area for weeks and sometimes one just needs some full hookups to regen. Dump the tanks, refill with water, run the AC and electric heat at night. The CG itself is not much to look at but the store and bar are nice. You do have views of the Tetons. There is a decent laundry for $1.50 to wash and I believe same to dry. There is a sign to not wash bedding, sleeping bags, heavily soiled items. I did see people washing comforters and sheets so not enforced real well and didn't seem to be causing any problems like rocking the washer in the spin cycle.Laundry room also has clean showers and co-ed toilets. They sell propane and if you want to just dump your tanks it's $10.50 amp electric worked well. The sites were pretty level gravel as were the CG roads. ATT was very good speeds. I think it was 50 mbps DL and 12 UL. Verizon had a decent signal indicator but I could not get nor stay connected. There is only one tower for the area and I believe Verizon was just overloaded. There is CG wifi that worked great in the morning and most of the afternoon but once the sightseers came back it was unusable. You do get a bit of road noise but hwy 26 is not that busy and for sure not an issue at night. They sell firewood and a decent convenience store on site. Gas was way over priced but as they say location location location.

We had a reservation for 5 nights but only stayed for 3 and lost our money on the remaining nights. We had to leave because we’re digital nomads and have to work. Their connectivity is shit, at best. We have all sorts of tools and could limp along for one work day but that’s it. So we stayed for the weekend to visit the parks and then left to go somewhere with connectivity (Sundance, WY in the black hills). The sites are close - too close. The fire pits are buried and are actually quite the hazard for getting in and out of your spot. All in all, it’s really not a bad spot and we would have stayed if we had connectivity. Pros: beautiful views. Horses came right up to the campground and were friendly. Super accessible to the national parks. Go eat at the Hatchet Inn - soooo good and super cool vibe. People were friendly. The ladies at the front were kind and one of the gentlemen helped me out with the trash one morning. Cons: very small lots with poorly placed fire pit. No connectivity. No refund on the nights we didn’t stay.

Tight spots, the fire ring was very close to another camper. Mosquitos were everywhere! Anytime you touch grass, a swarm of mosquitoes would stir. Could not spend time outside except for early mornings. On the plus side, the neighboring ranch horses came up to the fences and you could pet them. Could see the Tetons in the distance. The place where you check in seemed to always be closed and that is where the store was and gas. The gas station had hundreds of birds nests and if you got out to pump gas, birds would attack. If it wasn’t for the horses, the location, and clean bathrooms and laundry rooms.. this campground would get a 1star.

The park accommodates a lot of people; however there is no trash pick up so you have to walk to the dumpster by the office when needed (we didn't mind the walk, but we have stayed at places half this much and they at least had a trash pick up); the laundry room was not very clean and had a small amount of functioning dryers for the size of the park. Only 5 of the 9 dryers were able to be used. The others had "Out of Order" signs on them. Had to wait for a dryer because of this maintenance issue. Nearest grocery was Albertsons in Jackson (35 mins away) so I would suggest planning ahead. WIFI & CELL SERVICE: Wifi worked shockingly well for how busy their park was. I give it a 4 out of 5. AT&T cell service - 3 out of 4 bars.SITE: Gravel in the entire park. Level. We were second to last in our row which reduced in dust as cars went by. Along with it not being very windy, this enabled us to have our windows open the majority of the time to let the fresh mountain air in - that was awesome! The mosquitos were pretty bad in the evenings, but were hard to find during the day. Looked out into surrounding pastures with the backdrop of the Tetons and horses across the street. NEARBY SITES: Suggestions: Thai Me Up - great restaurant in Jackson; Moo's Ice Cream - delicious in Jackson; the 35 mile bike look from Jackson --> Moran --> Teton Village --> back to Jackson - it was the best and we even biked right past a grizzly taking a swim! We rented bikes from Hoback Bike Rentals in Jackson

If you're full-timers and need to get mail, don't...they will only accept mail via FedEx and UPS. The mosquitos are crazy. You can't go outside in the late afternoon without getting eaten up even with bug spray on, which probably come from the stagnant creek surrounding the park. The park is dirty with bird poop everywhere in the public areas. I will pass on this campground next time I'm in the area. For the money, I would have expected a pool, concrete sites, polite customer service and some insect control spraying.

The most I've ever paid to date for a campground. And then when I was ready to leave the campground I was charged $10 to dump! I've never paid to dump in a campground I was staying in before, this should have been free; their logic was that if you paid the extra $30/night you would have sewer! I saved $90 over 3 nights but had to spend $10 to dump. The staff didn't seem to really know their park. I was 30 amp and when I started to hookup to my assigned site I discovered that the site had 2 10 amp plugs but no 30 amp (or 50). Their map showed site #28 as 30 amp but it was not, how can they not know this? I called and got moved to site 23 for my 3 nights. The second night I was there a couple pulled in next to me at 10pm wondering where their electric and water site was and thought I was in their site. The signage is ambiguous and you don't feel like you know what site is yours. Turns out several people just took the site they wanted and not the assigned site so this couple was just out of luck! I split my water and loaned them a 30-to-15 amp plug for the night and they parked in an area that was near me but not a site. Each site has a picnic table and the most dangerous fire pit I've ever seen, they are just a deep hole in the ground; I almost fell into the one in my space. Several other sites had pits that were almost 2' deep! It was very dangerous to say the least.See the map in the photo section, spots 21-28 have no sewer, spots 123-175 are the "new section" and have full hookups but are very tightly spaced sites. There is a Phillips 66 gas station and they sell propane at the campground. There is a tiny bar and a pool table in the main building, with a little store selling food and some camping supplies. The park had wifi but I could never even find the wifi name much less use it.The location was pretty good for the Tetons National Park and Jackson, WY. It was a little to far for Yellowstone for day trips. The afternoon view of the mountains were the best thing about this campground.
