Didn't see much maintenance going on. Didn't use the facilities so not sure of the conditions. There's a playground which is mostly dirt/gravel. Not too far from Goblin Valley state park, a few view points along the interstate. Had good tacos from the taco truck a short drive at what used to be a Shell as station. It wasn't a bad stay but if we had to camp in the area again, we'd try another campground.

Good internet service, of course the place was nearly empty, maybe 8 other RVs total.

Good long, hot and clean showers. Fantastic laundromat, has a truck and RV wash adjacent. Off leash dog area and plenty of full hookup spots. Welcome could be better, the people didn't really seem like they wanted to be in the business. Slight noise from interstate 70.Nice dump site.

Front desk friendly and helpful. Sites marked very confusing versus the electric, water and sewer. Had a nice dog park for my pooch to get out some energy. Friendly neighbors. Clean showers but exhaust fan inoperable.

The showers won me over, some of the cleanest I've seen, even if they're inside a multi-stall restroom accessible to others (but with full door that closes on your own shower room). Our site was small and full of dirt piles left by some burrowing animals, ankle deep. Hookups were in same spot as neighbor's hookups, which was awkward but we only used the 30 amp.The playground and dog park were grassless and pretty torn up, maybe due to recent heavy rains. Mix of travelers and longer term types, and not altogether cheerful looking place, but it worked for us. View of the golf course, OATV, decent wifi, good Verizon signal. And plenty of hot water for my shower!

We decided to stay in Green River instead of pushing it to Moab, and we found this little place on this sure. Cheap, full hook-up, great dig area, and yes, they do have the cleanest bathrooms I have seen in a long time! A good option when traveling on I-70. Very quiet, too, as they space everyone out, so it felt private.

Yes, it is clean, pretty well laid out, and the folks are friendly. Every other place was full and we got the last spot at Shady Acres. So, it worked out well; however, if the area wasn't as busy and we had more time, I think I'd opt to stay at the state park. Very pretty setting right on the river.

I don’t have young kids but I wouldn’t want them climbing on them with the heat, but I think even the plastic gets too hot. Fairly close to Moab which was why we picked it.

But park was mostly empty(Nov 2019). In the off season they shut off water to the sites. But there is a fresh water spigot that was easy to reach when you arrive. Campground is mostly gravel, some sites have level concrete slabs for your trailer. Laundry was decent. Bathrooms & shower was clean. Gas station next door has some groceries. There's a larger grocery store 1/2 mile up the road. Ace hardware down the street can fill propane tanks. There's even a do-it-yourself RV wash. Which actually is a total pain in the ass cuz the brush didn't reach the other side of my trailer. I had to keep pulling forward, then turn trailer around to get stuff to reach. All while feeding machine quarters to keep time from running out. Probably way easier for smaller RV's. But I finally got my truck & trailer cleaned. It was pretty dusty.Good spot if you're passing through & stocking up. About an hour away from arches & canyonlands.

We researched laundry in town, dump fees etc and we decided our best option would be a couple of nights in a nearby campground. Shady Acres was it and worked perfectly for us. We arrived around 11 am without a reservation, we had called ahead and were advised to just "come on in"...very welcoming staff.Wifi works great, laundry facility is huge $2 wash vs $4 wash in Moab, no brainer there! Pull thru gravel site with full hookups and great water pressure. Discounts on fuel at neighboring station along with discounts on Blimpie as well.We consider this a gem of a find and provided us with exactly what we needed after 8 action packed days of boondocking in Moab!We utilized our Escapees membership discount to save a few pennies as well. Nice quiet campground for sure. Easy access right of Business 70

The check in was quick and they give you a slip of paper that gets you three cents off (per gallon) at the fuel station next door. On the negative side, some of the turns, going thru the park, are tight and the placement of trees, both old and new, made it difficult to get around without dragging something along the side of the motor home. Also, because its in the desert, the park is mostly loose dirt and very dusty. I wouldn't have stayed more than one night.

The 222 brought us to Green River, Utah this time, and we decided to try Shady Acres.Check-in was fast and easy, and our site was clean and level - long enough for our 40' fiver and our truck. There are a number of sites that in deed, do have plenty of shade, or if you need satellite signal, there are open areas as well. We don't generally use on-site restrooms or showers, but these were available, as is an on-site laundromat. Next door is a convenience store and fuel stop - which offers a .03 per gallon discount on fuel, and a BOGO deal at Blimpies for sandwiches. We were there in peak melon season and grabbed a couple of Black Diamond seedless watermelons, too.The park is quiet and well-maintained, although it's fairly close to a set of railroad tracks. These didn't bother us at all.Green River is a very small town, and has a minimum of goods, services, and meal options available. For us, though, it was a good chance to rest and recharge.
