The young man was courteous and offered a discount, besides our Good Sams, if we paid cash. Our site #8, was easy enough to find and it was a PU with FHU. We were on a corner lot, right next to the road so we didn’t have much space once we opened our slide plus there was a large tree right out our front door. We were in the back of the park, which was nice, but there was a railroad tracks which were about 100 yards. Not bad during the day, but at night they seemed to come by quite frequently. We use a white noise machine so it was hardly noticeable. There is also the highway noise all day every day. Again it wasn’t bad but if you are a light sleeper it could be.The park itself was nice and quiet with an occasional sound of children playing.???? I did not use The women’s restroom and shower but they were clean. We used the laundromat though! There are 5-6 washers ($2 a load) and four dryers (.25 for every 8mins).we had no problems with any of the machines. You need quarters so if you don’t have any you could get some at the office if you go doing office hours. There is also a playground which looked nice!We stayed in our 36ft fifth wheel and was able to park our F250 in front of it.

As such, there was no water available at any site, nor were the bathrooms/showers or laundry room available. The website information stated clearly that there was no water available at the sites, but it was unclear whether or not there was any water available at all in the campground. There was no person-to-person contact available on the phone, but questions that were sent via email were answered in a reasonable amount of time. Our reservation was made completely on online.Finding the park was easy from the highway, and access to our site was also easy. Our site was a pull-thru, and although it was close to our neighbor, it was not crowded. The park is right on one of the larger streets in Evanston, and there is a bit of street noise, especially at the front of the campground, where we were situated, but it wasn't overwhelming or bothersome.Obviously we can't comment on the quality of anything that we weren't able to use, but the person who was in the office when we arrived was polite and helpful. Our electric pedestal was in good shape, and all connections worked well. This is still very early spring in this part of WY, and although it's not warm yet, things were beginning to green up, and it looks as though this park will be very pretty once everything starts budding and blooming. I do wish the owners could make some kind of water available, even if it's from just one spigot. We were lucky enough to be able to fill our fresh water tank en route, but the lack of ANY water is my main reason for the slightly lower rating.

Good spacing between sites and very easy to maneuver your rig in and out of. Nice grassy areas to walk your pups. They doggy poop bag stations were always empty of bags, but we carry our own anyway. This park has lots of room for kids to play with a large play structure and grassy area.. The county fair was here during our stay and we enjoyed walking basically across the street to the fairground to enjoy it. There are miles of paved hiking/biking paths close at Bear River State Park. We enjoyed our stay here.

Quick, friendly transaction. The sights are not huge, but they were not unreasonably small, either. I did not feel cramped at all. Lots of campers waling their dogs. Everybody was very friendly and welcoming. There is a train track nearby. Heard a train go through at night but no whistles. Slept quite well. Inviting little park. Level site. Reasonable price. First, the woman is not friendly at all. They advertise that it has been run by the same family since 1936. I really felt like she was doing the job from family obligation rather than any passion or interest in RVing or RVers. She certainly doesn't make you feel welcomed and all your questions are kind of an annoyance to her. Second, I was really miffed to find out that a monthly renter wasn't able to use the bathroom or shower. It is written nowhere on the website. I wasn't told when I called to make the reservation or when I checked in, until the very end when she'd already run my credit card. That said, later I was able to talk my way into her allowing me use it. I have a small trailer and much prefer to use campground showers. The restrooms were mostly clean but they are only cleaned about twice a week (maybe less) so if other campers are slobs, the showers can be a mess. If you are a light sleeper, you should know trains go by throughout the day and night. There is also a Cisco trucking place right behind them so you'll also hear trucks most of the night, though not a ton of them. While I would stay there again if I had to since there isn't much else in the area, I'd prefer not to.

But there's little things that make the difference between a "welp, we were stuck here and we already paid" and "that was a really nice place." That all comes down to care and attention. After reading an earlier review saying they didn't pay attention to online reservations, took the effort to call. Got a nice young gentleman (assuming that's one of the sons or grandsons) who took my dates for the reservation, a credit card number to hold, what type of equipment we had, what type of site we wanted, did we want cable TV. Cool.Got to the park, sign on the door, out working in the park, and again, all good and cool. It's a small private park, assuming we're up to something, call the number, nice lady came over.So the first thing is that the reservation is wrong. Only put down one night when we needed four. Second, the lady said it was a 20% cash discount - $35 a night - if we didn't use our credit card. Why not, even the president doesn't pay taxes, might as well enjoy a discount. Did we want cable TV. Okay, now it's getting weird - did you just sort of lose the reservation? Site map, drive around this way, and thank you.Get to the site, and we're now in a 30 amp circuit instead of the requested 50. Welp, whatever. At least it's away from the road - NOPE, you're within 1/8th of a mile of I-80 AND the main transcontinental railway Union Pacific line with a mandatory horn (two short, so it's not a crossing, so not sure what they are doing). 50 amp circuits are in the front. Office is closed now. Well, whatever, and we paid cash.Sites are gravel and fairly level, reasonably sized, and the land is reasonably well maintained and clean. Signage around the park especially how to get out is bad - had multiple rigs have to drive through empty sites to figure how to get out while we were here. Neighborhood is pretty dumpy - car repair shops, abandoned gas stations, abandoned old motels. Pilot station is half a block down, Mexican restaurant with zero cares about COVID, social distancing, health, changing fryolator oil (whuff, just the stink of it from outside, dang) is next door. But if you need a place to sleep overnight, it's fine.

When we tried to show the camper that we had reserved the spot, they said tough, and take it up with the office. It was 5;25pm and the office was closed with NO after hours phone number. We left a message, and NO ONE would call us back. Rang the doorbell on the back home connected to the office (with two cars sitting right in front), and no one would answer! This is NOT how you run a campground! If you are going to offer online booking, than you should HONOR the online bookings, not make it a first come first serve situation! If you are driving on the I80, you'd be better off boondocking for the night than stay at this place!

Even though it's a city RV park, the owners do a terrific job of keeping it as countrified as possible. There are lots of trees, a nice dog walking area, and it's spotlessly clean. Even though we were there only days before they close for the season, they were busy picking up leaves. Check in was smooth and the service was great. While it's not really a destination park, it made our trip along the way far more enjoyable than we expected. There is a train and a highway closeby, so it is noisy during the day. The train seemed to stop running at night, though, and of course the highway quieted down. We had no trouble sleeping.
