This KOA did not have a secured entry. The people were nice enough. But for a $5 fee they allow the locals to use the pool. One of the only reasons we ever stay at a KOA so our kids can use the pool and we know it will be predictable and safe. Open access to the entire public and overuse of the pool by the locals is unacceptable. The pool was completely crowded and we did not enjoy ourselves as a result. We couldn’t even get a chair. If we ever come back to Cody I will stay out on the reservoir by the Cody dam.
Friendly staff but bad layout

The staff was very nice but the sites were almost on top of each other. No where to park your tow unless on top of neighbor’s septic or halfway in the road. Picnic tables were very near septic as well. Had to move the table to park.
Clean and comfortable

The site was also very long allowing us to keep our Jeep hooked up for the night. I will say the sites are close together, but not unusually close for a KOA. The grounds were well maintained and was an overall nice atmosphere. Connectivity was good. T-Mobile was the winner on speed with about 6 Mbps, but Verizon and AT&T also had a strong signal.
Friendly staff but very tight sites

Clean and well kept. All facilities are open. Pool is open. Clean and well maintained showers. Very close to downtown Cody. Sites are very close together and maneuvering larger RVs through the park can be a challenge.
