We paid in advance for 2 days, the day we arrived at the RV park the manager, Christi Livingston, said we had to check in prior to arrival via the internet. We asked for the internet code so we could check in, being off grid we had utilized all our data, too bad, unless you check in you can not have the internet code. So instead of giving us the code when we were already there paid in advance we had to drive into town. Since midday, coffee shops closed and restaurants not open yet it took us 45 minutes to find internet service to "check in"! Additionally they have well over 100 spaces, we asked to move to a location not close to the road. The guy said wide open pick any spot (only 5 RVs there) so we did then when we went back to tell him the site he said no you can not move contradicting what he said, we would not have just moved had we not been told okay. The manager came over as we were moving, with our arms full & obviously frustrated she said "are you listening to me?" I said yep which she apparently did not like that I did not stop everything so she storms off, gets in her car and drives off, seriously. Instead of dealing with an unhappy customer she marches off and drives away. Three RVs were assigned right next to us and across from us, on top of each other with over 100 empty spaces and we were told we could not use the showers. CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT EXIST at Absaroka Bay Rv Park. One star is too many, we do not recommend this RV park.

Good Basecamp for seeing the Buffalo Bill museum and resupply for the trip. The site were well spaced with a little grass and picnic table between your neighbors. Good wifi and water. This is a busy place with a lot of people coming and going but everyone was very respectful of their neighbors. The bathrooms were clean. Go and enjoy.

Picnic table at our site. They did have bathrooms and laundry room (did not use either of the facilities). Our site did have a tree for some shade. $42/night with Good Sam discount. 3 bars Verizon signal. Able to call, text, stream videos. Would stay here again if I’m the area.

During our stay an asphalt company was resurfacing the roads in this RV park which was a terrible inconvenience with no compensation offered. Dust blowing everywhere. This morning as I was hitching up a nail punctured my tire which the asphalt company admitted was theirs. Took me 2 hours to get the flat fixed in Cody when I needed to be on the road. The owner told me he was not responsible. “Talk to them” he said. Absolutely inexcusable. Would have been much easier for him to say “Terribly sorry. Let me reimburse you for your flat”.But no. The guy was a complete jerk.

We enjoyed this clean and quiet park, although two roads lead directly along the park. Easy in and out. The WiFi was excellent!

This is a great and convent spot to stay while visiting Cody. The site was very level and clean. The bathhouse& showers were fine. The laundry was the most reasonable of the entire 5 week trip. It was $1.75 for wash I think. Make sure that you do a Buffalo Bill museum visit also visit the dam west of town.

No problems whatsoever, and there are plenty of other big rigs around. The site is shorter and more narrow than normal, but this is an RV park. You’re not camping here. Hookups are clean, well placed and in good shape, Steady power and water pressure, good gravel in the site and even nice irrigated grass! Adequate picnic table and nice grounds overall. This park is sort of close to the Cody airfield and a well traveled road. That said, the noise is really tolerable, and actually rather rare to hear inside the coach. It’s so convenient to town, groceries, and diesel. It can’t be more than 5-7 minutes to the museum. This park is really the best game in town, if you’re not dry camping in one of the Shoshone CG’s. Nice folks and they are running a nice park. Definitely worth staying here rather than paying crazy money across town. (Like $100/night to be closer to the Yellowstone end of town? There can’t be more than 12-15 minutes difference anyway. Not worth it.) Stay here, don’t let some of the reviews scare you away. We’ve had a great experience at least...

FHU's, level, gravel sites, restroom/showers are "rustic" but clean, and easy access off the highway. Noise is bearable, between traffic and neighbors talking, and be prepared for the sprinklers to come on every night. This is not a "camping" destination, no activities within the park, but is geared toward being a base camp for local exploration such as Yellowstone N.P., Beartooth Hwy., Buffalo Bill Center of the West, & Buffalo Bill Dam/Reservoir, to name a few. In getting here, it seems the whole GPS system, whether using your phone, your stand-alone, or whatever, goes wacky and unusable at times. Wifi in this part of the country is also slow and spotty, both AT&T and Verizon.

Very tight maneuvering, spots are close together with a tiny strip of grass between. Other than that, it is clean and nice, with good access to the highway into Yellowstone. DW says she would not spend a week here, but would spend a night again.
