On first glance you can tell that at one point this was a popular tourist attraction, however it is evident that it is in desperate need of updating. Its a convenient location when traveling the I25 with long mostly level gravel sites, but that is just about it. Three sites away from our space was a large group (maybe 9 adults) living in a very old 5th wheel. At their site there were black trash bags, laundry bags, metal carparts, toys and other items all over. In addition to the 5th wheel, they also had 2 broke down vehicles parked with hoods up that were both piled high with trash, then another working vehicle pulling a flatbed trailer overflowing with black trash bags and more junk. When I say they had stuff everywhere it is no exaggeration. Have you ever watched Horders? It was that bad! There is a row of newer trailers that look to be long timers and that row was very well kept and clean, however in our section of the mostly empty park, this large group and the accumulated trash, were enough to make me never want to return. This place has some real potential, but sadly doesn't seem like its likely to be improved anytime soon.

The sites are pull-thrus on a mix of dirt/weeds with FHU that all worked fine during our stay. Spots were long and wide enough for our 40’ 5th wheel, and they are relatively level. There is very little space between sites and not much for privacy. This is a kind of touristy place, but since we were passing through, we didn’t experience much of it. TBR is about 10 miles from Cheyenne with plenty of restaurants, gas, and other useful amenities, and they offer restaurants and a store on site. There is plenty of room to walk a dog, and despite being relatively full and near the highway, noise was not an issue. Their WiFi seemed to work well enough, and our Verizon did also, without the booster. Overall this CG felt just OK, a little run-down, a little dirty (trash here and there), but it’s totally fine for an overnight. Our rate of $28 reflects the Passport America discount ($24 + 16% sales tax).

We started finding moths in our motorhome. We kept shooing them out the window then realized there was a whole bunch. 5 days later we are still killing them and shooing them out. We don’t know how they got in, but are sure they came from the ranch. We were not that happy with the food at the steakhouse, or the quality of the sites, but this infestation put it on the bottom of our list of campgrounds. The people were nice though. Have to backtrack to get on freeway.

Very large campground and tourist resort off of I-25. Looked like a lot of long term residents, but we had a nice pull through site next to a few other transient campers. Looked to be a fun place to visit during peak season - has a concert venue, gift / grocery store, and lots of family friendly things to do, including a train that circles a bison corral on the property. Restrooms and showers were clean and well maintained. Laundry room available, but did not use. Rate is with Passport America discount. We camped at Terry Bison Ranch Resort in a Motorhome.

Dirt sites with a bit of grass in between each. Somewhat close together but not too bad. Playgrounds were great for the kids but a little run down. Didn't bother them. We stayed in late April so it was still cold and damp. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant with live music. That was the best part. It had a great atmosphere. Was a little pricy but we splurged for experience. Spring and Summer have a lot of great amenities for families and we would come back during that time to experience them. The $28 price was a Passport America price and was a great choice for our one night stop.

It is a decent location if you want to explore Cheyenne, only about 15 minutes away. If you don't leave the park you have bison and wind turbines to view. The property offers some kids stuff like a train ride but I didn't investigate it.During COVID-19 we were packed in all the same row while rows behind were totally empty. Ask to change if you don't like your site. This was the first time I had people on both sides of me in a long time. The park is right off the 25 highway and you can hear the traffic all day and night, lots of trucks. A good sound machine would solve that issue.Staff in the main building "store" know nothing when you ask them basic questions, nice, but not helpful at all. Also in the main building, near the laundry, there is both a Women's and a Men's restroom with showers (see pictures). Laundry room has 4 washers and 4 dryers, currently $2/wash and $1 dry. Park assumes NO responsibility or assistance for machine issues, there is a sign saying no refunds. The grounds weren't maintained well, the weeds and grass were high enough to worry about ticks. Picnic tables are filled with splinters, nothing else on site. Some junky-looking full-time sites closer to the highway. This campsite offered a Passport America discount on the first night that made 2 nights almost reasonable. ds

We would stay here again should we decide to return to the "daddy of 'em all" rodeo, but certainly would not return without a purpose.I do expect this place is a lot of fun for kids. You can take tours to feed bison, enjoy gentle horseback riding, and go to a petting zoo all on site. If you can eat it without guilt (while bison are wandering by), the bison burger at the restaurant was fantastic.

Parked tightly together without any grass or trees on spaces. No cable, no tables. All are gravel and weeds. I kept telling myself it's a working Ranch with so much to do on site. Two nice play areas, beautiful gift shop, train ride around property, horseback riding, a rodeo arena, bison, chickens, camels, two restaurants (one breakfast only) the other has steaks and burgers. They have an amusement ride area but never saw anyone on so not sure if working. Shower room in office area is beautiful with best showers we've seen in four months of full timing. One point is that evidentially they have rattle snakes and according to a guest here, most of Wyoming gets snakes. Would have been nice to have a warning to give children and watch for pets.
