After driving through white out conditions, we had to pull over and found this place. The staff was nice and the grounds are well kept. Good job even. We do wish the sites were level.

This is a family run KOA that has done some pretty incredible upgrades to this resort. Upon arrival, we were placed in a private site along a babbling brook. It was fantastic sitting outside at any time of day or night and listen to the water running by just outside our door. This park offers FHU sites that are very spacious. A number of sites that even run right beside the river. There is river beach access for everyone. The best park WiFi we have ever used, a nice pool and awesome gated dog run. It was lovely walking around the park in the evening talking to our fellow campers. Wonderful family run park which we highly recommend. I have stayed at much nicer campgrounds with similar amenities for 40% less. You are within earshot of your neighbors. The water was good; electricity ample. The WiFi was excellent; 25 MBPS download speed. I was close to the office and and it was during the late afternoon; a slow time for web use. The highway is close by and heavily traveled. There are a lot of lights that are on all night too so blackout shades are a good idea. Bathrooms and showers were modern and clean. The office was closed the entire time I was there.I only stayed one night. Next time I will try to find a campground that is quieter, darker and a more reasonable price.

Unfortunately there was loud construction with multiple dump trucks and other loud vehicles, complete with the loud back up beeping, all week, all day long. It was nearly impossible to work, even with all our windows shut. It also took away from any potential peaceful atmosphere. It was disappointing that management did not do anything to try to compensate for the loud noise. We even paid to upgrad to a better spot (before we know about the extent of the construction). Probably wouldn’t have bothered if we knew it would be so loud.

Clean, efficient laundry, sort of close to a nice walking trail along the creek (although you are in the slightly unsavory end of town), great cell service (for WY, 3 bars of LTE on verizon is LUXURY). Nice hosts. We made the decision to return based on our experience on our way west.

Active Duty Military saves 10%. Stopped on our way up to Alaska from Colorado. Realized late right before checkout we had a tire issue. Totally cool with checking out an hour late with a heads up. Then to Big Horn Tires a mile down the road for a fix before we continue on our journey. Would stay again.

We typically don't stay at KOAs but needed someplace with hookups due to the cold, wet weather. This is a nice and reasonable KOA. Pull through site with FHU. A picnic table and fire pit. Site was pretty level and we did not have to in-hitch. KOA is right on the river. With nice weather, would be a nice place for a stopover.

Off the interstate so it was quiet no road noise at all. 1 of the better KOA’s we’ve stayed at ~ we were directly across from restroom/shower/laundry building. Very impressed w/restroom-showers. Very clean and updated w/modern fixtures. Showers had rubber mats when you exit the stall & were in a separate private room w/small bench in changing-dressing area. Only CON was bench very narrow [small] becuz inside area of room too compact plus no hooks and shelves in shower and in communal sink area for your clothes-towels-& stuff all necessities that a camper needsCampground itself very tidy, neat, and maintained. All roads and site pads have gravel, but no potholes and all level. Sites are wider/larger than most KOA’s we’ve stayed at w/good shade at most sites, plus some upgraded sites have cement patios w/BBQ grill and outdoor patio furniture easily accommodates the big rigs. Sparkling clean swimming pool, cabins for rent, separate tent area on the grass and under shade trees.

This KOA is in a very beautiful setting. There is a lot of grass areas, nice trees by the sites and easy use roads. I stayed for a week and really enjoyed myself. My dog and I loved our walks. There is a creek below the sites that is fun to walk by, cooling and relaxing.
