Let me start with the good. Nice sites, not level. Shade and full sun. Small quaint campground with full hook ups for most sites. Pool was clean. Owner was helpful with directions. Sleeping bear dunes was a short drive away. Now on to the not so good; bathhouse, don't even think about it. Gross. Outdated, the roads leading to the campground was loaded with potholes. The owner called nature's speed bumps. The the pool bathhouse was closed, possibly condemned. The rain caused several sites to flood. The river is walking distance but unkept and overgrown. The campground was empty. Even during the busiest time of year for sleeping bear dunes. Sections of the property has run down buildings and roads especially up near the motel. The store inventory was empty. The sewer connect inlet was higher than my trailer outlet pipe. So I had to tinker with that to get it to empty. To summarize. Great for location and if you have a RV that has working plumbing. I forgot to mention, a great ice cream shop just up the street. The campground has tons of potential but is lacking so much.
