Our site was walking distance to the bar and pool/hot tub. Food and beverages were good at the bar. Little pricey. Pool area was clean. Not crowded at all. Could use a few repairs. We were there during the week early August. There was not too many people, it was pretty quite. (Photo) It did rain pretty hard. There was a large puddle in front of our car. They came through with a bobcat and more gravel.

Pros: - Pool was really nice and clean- Drinks were reasonably priced - Food was decent - Had the pool to ourselves from 9AM-noon. Most people didn’t show up until 12:30 or 1PM- Site was level and large Cons:- Pricey- We have 2 dogs, but had a hard time walking them around the campground because so many people had loose dogs that ran out at us. One of the people camping at a site near us actually got bit in the leg by a loose dog during our stay. - Website does not say you can’t bring your own drinks/snacks to the pool, but carry-ins are not allowed. I understand wanting to make money, but should advertise that on the website. They even gave us a hard time about bringing water into the pool area. - The emcee at the pool who was running the games was a bit creepy. At one point he was hosting a “butt shaking contest” and only 1 woman volunteered as a contestant. For about 10 minutes he was singling women out of the crowd trying to pressure them into participating. - Between 2 highways, so a lot of car and motorcycle noise. Overall, we had an enjoyable time but likely wouldn’t come back unless a group of friends wanted to go there to celebrate a birthday or something.

  • Great park if you want to party.

Everyone that is checking in has their age verified and they make a copy of your drivers license and you are given a wrist band. The sites are huge with plenty of room. We took our 31’ motorhome and still hand plenty of room for a car or two. The camp side of the spot had enough room to setup plenty of seating. Full hookups 30/50 amp, water pressure was a little low, but not really a problem. The one strange thing was the sewer hookups. They were elevated a bit and it made it hard to get a downward slope to drain the tanks. Sites were also fairly level. There was no WiFi available from our location, which was very far back, but we did get occasional service from T-Mobile. My parents stayed with us and they have Verizon and they reported full LTE coverage. WiFi is available at the on-site bar/restaurant.As stated in the header, this is a major party campground. Quiet hours are not until Midnight and aren’t enforced until 2:00 AM. As we were at the far end away from the bar/pool/live music stage it wasn’t too bad. It was still a much more boisterous crowd that we are used to. It looks like there are several seasonal campers on site, but none of them have permanent hookups that I saw if that sort of thing bothers you. This is not a “nature” campground. Not a lot of trees, just lots of gravel sites with grass between the rows. It is, however, very well maintained. All the electrical/sewer/water seemed very new. People come here to party, not enjoy a quiet evening around the campfire. The bar and grill on site is very popular and the food is quite good. They have a very nice pool and sand volleyball courts. The bar is beautiful and very well stocked. The camp store is very well stocked with booze as well and reasonable prices. I believe this campground is very popular with bachelor parties, as there is a “gentleman’s club” right across the street. I know the subject of dog sizes/breeds is a hot button topic in the RV community. For the record I love all dog breeds and sizes and have no problem with any of them, provided they are socialized and pose no danger. Edge O Dells has no restriction on dogs. I think that is great, but I should mention it to those that are not comfortable around big and potentially dangerous dogs. We got to meet our neighbor’s Bull Mastiff and another neighbor’s pair of Great Danes. Very beautiful and friendly dogs each and every one, and it was a privilege to meet all of them. We have a small dog (about 16 pounds) that got pretty nervous around the mastiff. This is a very powerful dog and even broke off from his leash after dragging the picknick table he was leashed to about 15 yards. He was just very excited and did not take an aggressive posture, but our pup was not very happy about it. Nothing happened, and we had a nice chat with his owner, but since this is a review read by many people I wanted to make people aware of their dog policy. Conclusion: Not for families with children (everyone must be 21 and over), can be quite loud even into the late evening hours, great level sites with quality hookups, great bar/grill, friendly staff.Note: I’m giving them a 5 star review as they really achieved what they were looking to do, it just may not be for everyone.
