I booked us here at the end of a marathon planning session (during my one afternoon in civilization while boon docking for a week!). I was tired and just wanted a place we could stay near the ferry from Manitowoc to Luddington, so missed some details. The sites are TINY. We were actually having to avoid walking on our neighbors sewer line when we exited our camper. Thank goodness we arrived late and ended up in an "upgraded" site along the road (facing Lake Michigan). If we were in the back along the fence I may have suffered claustrophobic attacks. It was odd that we couldn't get cell service in the campground, but could get it once we got to the road (maybe 50 yards away). The campground has everything you need, the staff was friendly, and it is on (across a parkway from) Lake Michigan. It's pretty easy to cross over to the bike path along the lake. All that said, we found a nice looking state park about 10 minutes away that would definitely be my pick if we ever go back. (we also spotted a public dump station in Manitowoc)

  • Great facilities, helpful staff, very tight sites

We stayed here for two weeks in our 37' travel trailer. It has great facilities for families. The mini golf is in pretty good shape. The indoor pool and hot tub area is fantastic. There's an indoor bar by the pool which is good. The shower rooms are very clean and spacious. The playground is small but definitely good enough. My only gripe is that the sites are short and narrow. But with so much to do nearby around the lake, we didn't spend to much time outside the camper anyway. Also worth noting is that the WiFi here is the best I've seen at any campground. My husband and I both were able to work using that connection, which was a first. If you have dogs, check out the amazing dog park at Zander park, 2 minutes from here.
