  • Huge campground, probably better when full-staffed...

But, the short staff was further distracted by the group of lifeguards hanging out behind the counter and there was no manager on site. Our first site was way to small for our 5th wheel. The roads are confusing and there's no directional signs, so when we went back to get a new site, people in golf carts were scolding us for going the wrong way. After another unsuccessful attempt at another site, we finally got a pull-through, but we had to move sites two days before we left to a less desirable "group site". So lots of hassle checking in. The "arcade" is full of ticket-games from the 90's and run down toys. Lots of other activities for kids, most of which need updating. The laundry facility needs a "deep clean". The manager did give us a free night in the end and was very apologetic. Overall a decent setting, but many improvements could be made. If we're back in Door County, we'll check out one of the other dozens of campgrounds before coming back here.

  • Fantastic fun for families

This campground looks like it is full of fun activities for kids and families. They have water slides, pools, game areas, a theater and a jump pad. We came in October so all of these were closed. In fact, even the office was closed so I had to find my own way to my site which I reserved online. There are a variety of drive through and back in sites of all lengths. There are some that have complete sun exposure but most are in dense woods. Power is available in 20, 30 and 50 amp. There is water at every site. The dump station is free to campers. The cellular coverage was adequate but not great and somewhat intermittent. The TV antenna pulled in 3 of the 4 major networks but the signal was inconsistent at times. The location is central to just about everything in Door County. The pictures on their web site are accurate to what they have.
