Next “gate“ was not labeled as a gate, had gravel road into the woods and no clear signage saying enter here, go this way, or anything. The path was heavily treed on each side and scratched my camper in several places (and several other campers also) There was no signage to tell you which way to go and we ended up in a dead-end and had to back out approximately 50 yards. And still no signs or arrows or anything that showed where the office/check in was.The next problem came quickly after we attached our camper to power and turned on the AC - the power went out. The owner came out and changed the 2 100w fuses and came by and told our group that too many people were running their AC on the circuit and we should either move sites to a different circut (8-10 other sites available) or dont run the AC so the circuit didn’t get overloaded. Our site was set up an we are young so we figured it couldn’t be all that bad…. We were wrong. The power kept going out - 5-6 times a day! And the weather remained warm and muggy, so by dinner, my friend and I went to talk to the owner about a small refund for the inconvenience of frequent power outages and no AC. I thought I asked politely and my friend concurred. The owner replied “if you pack up and leave now, you can get a full refund. If you stay you can move to a different site if you want to. There will be no refund of any kind” Welp … We’re here with a camping club and no one else is leaving or changing sites so we’ll stay too. I went back to my camper and busted out my stick fan and sweated the evening away. The next thing I figured out was the pool and bathroom area was old and crumbling. The weeds around the bathroom were waist high, the bubbler had an old birds nest in it, and an old toilet was sitting out front of the bathroom building with a swampy weedy mess in the bowl. Inside, the bathrooms and showers worked but reminded me of campgrounds I went to 40ish years ago as a kid - bare brick walls, no ventilation, and easy access for bugs. The pool had not been skimmed - bugs and other stuff on the surface and a lot of debris on the bottom of the pool - unsure if the sand and gravel came from the crumbling walls and floor of the pool or people may have brought it in on their shoes. And the water was not clear - it looked like a lot of people had already been sweating in the water or maybe other fluids.As more people showed up for the weekend, the power kept shutting off. A person in my group went to go check the breaker/power box and noticed that the box itself was hot to touch… still the owner was replacing fuses several times a day. He told us at one point, he had called the electrician but the guy hasn’t called him back in months. Is there no other electricians in the area?! We are 30-45 minutes from the dells-CALL SOMEONE ELSE!The next issue was when the group booked the campground in the beginning of the year, the owner told us there was a covered pavilion we could use or we could use the large garage he had on site…. The ”pavillion“ was an ez-up over a raised wooden platform with rotten plywood and the garage was full of stuff! He told the group that we could use an open field that was in a different section and had no shelter or seating. The group had a few ez-ups and carried over our own picnic tables for seating and gathering. I know this may be beyond the owners control, but there was a guy driving around Saturday evening (about 4-5 hours) on a very old gas golf cart with no muffler. Each time he came by there were several different kids hanging on and whoopin/yelling.There were a few good things1. Kip the Kamper, music and magic hired by the owner for entertainment 2. sewer at each site (if we had moved, the section open had no sewer sites)3. the owner delivered and stacked large buckets of wood for $20 a bucket 4. ???????????? the tiny toads that came out after the rainMy recommendation would be to not camp there during the weekends or not at all.

We camped here early spring which is cold In Wisconsin. Owners were very nice and accommodating. Especially because we were there during covid start. A little cluttered near entrance but it was early season. Wisconsin is not pretty in April usually. Plan to come again.

Victor and Santos are Fantastic people. They try to help everyone who is camping with them. We ALWAYS have a GREAT TIME when we are there. Can't wait for school to be put so we can be there the rest of the summer.

Quiet place. Very quiet. Most guests are FT and rent for the season. We have 3 little kids who enjoyed to 1990’s style playground. Staff is attentive to any issues.
